This is like a shorter version of Jessica Baum’s book on the same subject. It’s about half the length so is much faster to work through and come back to.

Compassionate and informative

The content is okay, if a bit generic. The AI narrator’s odd inflection landed this one on my did-not-finish list.

AI narrator is intolerable

the audiobook seemed very straightforward, if felt at times that it was an A.I. generated informational lecture. the author capitolized on your emotional well being without a hint of sacrificing for your spouse. There was also no mention of spirituality strengthening (something I hold at the core of my marraige). The audiobook promotes going out with new friends over commitment to your spouse. No mention of church or religion. she did however, mention hiking, support groups and finding new groups of friends. Still, there was some good information throughout the book.

There was some good basic information.

Wish it had more real life examples. Though it was still relatable it felt generic in nature
