Mystery, suspense & cats!

If you are an animal lover then this installment is for you! As with all Lady Justice books there is a perfect blend of mystery, personal plots & suspense. The topics covered in this book range from finding a lost treasure, to a hostage situation with a member in witness protection, to a foiled terror plot. There is a lot of action, and as usual all the favorite characters are along for the ride!

Fun for feline lovers!

Walt gets into more mischief and exciting plots now that he is a private eye. Good move Robert.

Loved Clarence the Cat.

George Kuch is good as usual.

George and the cat

Walt and his muttley crew get involved in yet another adventure. This time Walt and his honey end up with a cat. I loved the interaction between Walt and the cat. Not being a cat person I totally related to his treatment by the cat. This was a cute addition to the story line. Once again George Kuch is the narrator again he is wonderful. I don't think I could listen to this book read by anyone else. In fact I read this book on my kindle a few months ago and in my head I heard George's voice :-)

I love the cat Clarence. what a "cool" cat.

Another great story from Thornhill. This is a great switch to something a little lighter. Clarence the cat is great! Another quirky character to add to the list. I have to agree there really are no coincidences, and things work out for a reason. Definently worth your time to listen.

Cat Rescued or to the Rescue

I absolutely love this series. Love all the characters Walt, Ox, Kevin and his extended family and friends. In this book Maggie takes in cat after owner was killed in house she is listing, his name is Clarence and dislikes Walt and has 2 microchips in him. The cat is catnapped and escapes then is adopted by Sara an ex-CIA agent, Veronica’s mother, who is then kidnapped by terrorist and Clarence helps the characters saves the day with several murders. Great narration as usual. Highly recommend this series that enjoy fun thought provoking mysteries (in this book, D.B Cooper) and cat attitudes and need break from the dark. Keep them coming. I was given this free audiobook by author and have voluntarily left this review. THANK YOU!!!!

Lady Justice and the Cat

Lady Justice and the Cat
: Robert Thornhill

Walt and friends are back with a new adventure. Maggie ask Walt to help with a new listing. While there the deceased former owner's cat Clarence, becomes a project for Maggie. Walt is more intrigued by the life and death of the man, that was a treasure hunter. We get to see a good mix of past characters that are there to help. It's fun to see the interaction between Walt and Clarence. I love "The Lady Justice series!" Each book is a chance to think, but laughter is always a given.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. George Kuch is absolutely the greatest!

Clarence stole the book!

What a fantastic new twist this adventure took Walt and friends on. I love how Robert Thornhill writes about history and brings it to present day and meshes with the adventure. D.B. Cooper and his escape has always intrigued me in terms of did he get away or not. The speculation was able to be woven into this book through the murder of Clarence's owner. Maggie with her soft heart fosters him much to Walt's lack of enthusiasm. As a cat owner, I could relate to many of the antics of Clarence and the presents, and his relationship with Walt. George Kuch performed the book perfectly. I love his distinguishable voices for the various characters and how he delivers the humor. I found myself laughing out loud during this book. Part of the topics in the story are light, while deeper ones are also present. Although not directly addressed, as a pet owner, one needs to make plans for their pets future in case of emergency or death. I so enjoyed how Clarence was able to find his forever home. This review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion. I also appreciate how Walt's view on Lady Justice is not so black and white, but leans more towards right and wrong. This story may be short, but its one of my favorites to date. I will definitely listen to more books by both author and narrator.
