Publisher's Summary

Every Single Secret takes you on a journey into a dark, surreal world…A true psychological thriller that will leave you breathless.” - Wendy Walker, bestselling author of All Is Not Forgotten and Emma in the Night

Emotionally guarded Daphne Amos always believed she’d found a kindred spirit in her fiancé, Heath. Both very private people, they’ve kept their pasts hidden from the world, and each other, until Heath’s escalating nightmares begin to put an undeniable strain on their relationship. Determined to give their impending marriage the best chance of succeeding, Heath insists that Daphne join him on a seven-day retreat with Dr. Matthew Cerny, a psychologist celebrated for getting to the root of repressed memories. Daphne reluctantly agrees - even though the past is the last place she wants to go.

The retreat’s isolated and forbidding location increases her unease, as do the doctor’s rules: they must relinquish their keys and phones, they’ll be monitored at all hours by hidden cameras, and they’re never to socialize with the other guests.

One sleepless night, Daphne decides to leave her room...and only then does she realize that the institute is not at all what it seems - and that whatever’s crying out from Heath’s past isn’t meant to be heard. It’s meant to be silenced.

Not for me...

This book starts out kind of slow. It has a few interesting moments and a very strange plot which is not revealed until about 2 1/2 hours before the end. That's when I quit listening! Sorry, I really wanted to like the book but couldn't do it. Some may like it and if you're interested and have kindle unlimited this book is FREE!

Loved it!!

I absolutely loved this story! I listen to probably 4 to 5 audible books a month and this is only the second review I've ever done but it was so good, I was compelled to review it.

I will admit that I did have it somewhat figured out about 10 chapters before it was revealed however, that just engaged me more. I was so sure I was right that if I'd had been wrong, I would have been disappointed.

This is actually one of those books where you feel a sense of loss when it's over because you're so engrossed you just want the story to keep going.

I highly recommend.

Fresh and Compelling

An excellent performance by Kate Orsini brings this complex thriller to life. Complex in its treatment of the characters and the winding of the tale. I love a plot with a subtle rational of the characters psychology, actions and motives. If you do as well, you too will enjoy "Every Single Secret. Can't say more without giving the away the secrets. I can however, tell you that for me, this delivers a fresh plot, is well written and exciting.

I am absolutely enthralled while listening to Kate Orsini narrate any books. Her speaking style is interesting, conversational and seamless. Kate moves the story along as well as the author. I love her!

perfect story teller.

the narrator is incredible in this one. at 1st, I wasn't sure I liked her, but about 30 minutes in I was in love. I really REALLY think she helped make the book a solid 5 stars. Awesome writing by an amazing writer, but we all know how the narrator can make or break a story.... you will not be disappointed with this one, especially if you're a southerner.

Not engaging

I don't know why, but this listen did not engage me. I found the past life story of the male character, and the catalyst moment of the main characters past unbelievable. Just wouldn’t happen. I can dispend belief, but the snooping of the main character
was just too convenient and did not fit with where they were supposed to be.
I can't say a lot without giving away revelations in the book. It tried to deep and it just wasn’t.

Excellent book!

I loved this book, I would never of guessed all the twists. The first few chapters are slow and I was confused by the switching between time frames but once I got used to that I couldn’t stop listening. The narrator is also great.
