A Good Suspenseful Mystery....

I enjoyed this story... and Simon Prebble's narration. The story had enough mystery and suspense to hold my attention throughout. Prebble is the voice of Francis' novels, the voice that brings the story to life. Other Dick Francis novels that I like better are "Break In" and "Bolt"... as I well know, some stories are better than others. Recommend.....

Another Francis Masterpiece

Dick Francis is hands down the best mystery writer. This book offers intriguing characters and a well developed plot. Then again, all of his books do. Simon Prebble brings it all together with his engrossing style.

Another terrific tale!

Again, outstanding performance by Simon Prebble of one of my most favorite Dick Francis stories. Of many beloved authors, he is the best, and at least once every year for decades I'd get out and read all 38 of my DF library. Am trying to get ALL in audio versions so I can "listen while I work" on all kinds of activities that require only minimal concentration ... so I don't neglect my chores! :-) I'm so glad I 'found' him way back when, as he's given me SO much pleasure. Wish he could STILL be writing! ... I miss you, Mister Francis (and Mary).

Driving Force

Enjoyed the story. Not one of my favorite Francis novels, but kept me listening until the end. Prebble is a great narrator every time.

good, but not great

I enjoyed Hill's Break In and Bolt much more than this story. But Driving Force was good enough for me to give Hill another try.
