Really enjoyed this story and the narration. I love how DF always writes a protagonist I love to love.

Not up to the old man. Too bad. Disappointing.

A great audio to listen to while doing the laundry, making dinner or walking the dog. Dick Francis’ books have never disappointed me and now his son is adding to the thrills.

Excellent entertainment and excitement

It's been quite a few years since I read Dick Francis. I'm happy I returned for this one by Dick and Felix Francis. The numerous subplots are mostly believable and keep the reader's interest. One also learns the ins and outs of bookmaking at English race tracks and in betting parlors.

My only quibble is with the narrator, who was very good but sounded much older than the 37 year old protagonist he was supposed to be and also sounded a bit more upper class than I would have imagined the typical English bookie.

All things considered, I am very glad that I purchased Even Money. If you like Dick Francis, I believe you will find Even Money a good bet.
