Publisher's summary

Fearless counterterrorism operative Mitch Rapp finds himself directly in the line of fire in the latest riveting political thriller from New York Times best-selling author Vince Flynn.

For years, Mitch Rapp's bold actions have saved the lives of countless Americans. His battles for peace and freedom have made him a hero to many, and an enemy to countless more. In the tangled, duplicitous world of espionage, there are those, even among America's allies, who want to see Mitch Rapp eliminated. They have decided the time has come.

Now, the powerful father of a dead terrorist demands vengeance in its simplest form, an eye for an eye, and Rapp instantly becomes the target of an international conspiracy. This time, he must use all of his vigilance and determination to save himself before he can turn his fury on those who have dared to betray him.

Consent to Kill takes listeners behind the headlines and catapults them to the front lines of the global war on terror. It sizzles "with inside information, military muscle, and CIA secrets" (Dan Brown). Vince Flynn mixes military technology with his exclusive knowledge of Washington politics to create a hero that Americans will wish existed outside the realm of fiction.

Engaging spy thriller

This Mitch Rapp novel is a tale of revenge for the CIA assassin. While a little predictable, Vince Flynn writes engaging stories with lots of action, and this story did not disappoint. Excellent narration made this an even more fun story to listen to.

Absolutely wonderful story but......

As usual Mitch Rapp is outstanding, but George Guidall performance was horrible, most of the men sounded the same and all the women sound alike. If I’m not mistaken in the previous books his interpretation of Mitch was much different, the same thing happened in the Game of Thrones series, different narrator but no effort.

death of Anna

Would you consider the audio edition of Consent to Kill to be better than the print version?

Great novel Guidall as always is the best story teller. But come Flynn did not have to kill off Anna. Could have put her in a coma and baby lost. Rapp would of still gone after all the terrorists.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Consent to Kill?

Death of Anna

Which character – as performed by George Guidall – was your favorite?

Mitch Rapp

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My wife and I got angry over Anna's Death

Any additional comments?

Still A great novel

The best Mitch Rapp book yet!

I've enjoyed the Mitch Rapp series, each prior book was good and enjoyable. This one, though, really took off, and I couldn't put it down.

It's THAT Good

I seldom write reviews for books because I'm lazy - plain and simple. Out of the hundreds in my library, however, this is the first to make my manly eyes wet with tears, and I'm compelled to say buy it now. Listen to it tonight. Mark my words, you'll be glad you did. The story & narration are both superb. But it's the story that will stick with me for awhile. It's truly THAT good.

mitch, one of the most intense

moments told in a real and plausible story that continues to grab and touch your heart to the end. Once again, Vince Flynn makes you want to hear more of the story of Mitch Rapp and his journey with the CIA
