From the author of My Husband's Wife, Penguin presents the unabridged downloadable audiobook edition of Blood Sisters by Jane Corry, read by Zoe Thorne and Emilia Fox.

Three little girls set off to school one sunny May morning. Within an hour one of them is dead.

Fifteen years later Alison and Kitty are living separate lives. Kitty lives in a care home. She can't speak, and she has no memory of the accident that put her there or her life before it. Art teacher Alison looks fine on the surface. But the surface is a lie. When a job in a prison comes up, she decides to take it - this is her chance to finally make things right.

But someone is watching Kitty and Alison. Someone who wants revenge for what happened that day. And only another life will do....

Dragged On & Whiney Characters

I enjoyed this author's other title My Husband's Wife, but this one not so much. The main character irritated the hell out of me. She was whiney, and irritating. This story dragged out unnecessarily with no real story line or developed characters. The surprises were not so surprising and boring.

Really!

I dislike when authors put an unnecessary and an influential twist at the end. I kept saying "Yeah Right". This book dragged out the story in an attempt to create suspense but it only created impatience.

Annoying characters

I enjoyed another if the author's books, my husband's wife. It wasn't great but good enough. This mess, however, was terrible. The story lacked any sort of verisimilitude or cohesion. It dragged on and on and on. The main character was a complete dipsh*t and made ridiculously dumb choices. The dialogue was laughably bad. People simply don't talk this way. Just a painfully bad story with whiny, helpless characters you want to slap sense into. Don't bother!

Okay

A good story but very very far fetched and too much going on to make it believable. Towards the end I just wanted it to finish.

damn good read. would highly recommend.

I loved this book. it had me guessing a lot through it which I loved. it was easy to listen too. although the jumping from one time in there life to another sometimes was a little hard to keep up with. characters are very believable, and you felt for them

New author for me.

Where does Blood Sisters rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Great to find another new author I enjoyed reading - Zoe Thorne and Emilia Fox made it all the more enjoyable. Now looking for other books by Jane. Corry x

Disappointing

I really enjoyed the last Jane Corry book on Audible and was really looking forward to this one. I was disappointed. The twists were predictable (I had them worked out from nearly the start) and a lot of the other story was implausible. I wont say too much as I don't want to put in any spoilers. I stuck it out to the end in the hope a great twist would turn it around but unfortunately it didn't work for me.

Rather exciting

I was gripped and the story does not just finish but goes on a little longer thsn expected. Harsh reality and secrets create a devious interplay. Pity some aspects were just a little too far fetched.

Worth it for the ending

Quite predictable in places but saved by a very gripping last quarter with great twists!

I loved this book

Amazing story with a few twists and turns. Excellent narration and very likeable characters. Kitty made me laugh out loud with her comments. Can't wait for Jane Corry's next book.

Great story.

Loved it. At first I thought the story was so coincidental, but I was wrong, it was like a true to life story, a happy ending but it sounded like there is gonna be a sequel.
I love the narrator both of them, clear crisp voice and emotions.
Highly recommended

Entertaining

A good story which hangs together well. I thought some of the twists were a little contrived but easy listening, keeps you wondering and the different narrative voices are well done.
Narration was of high quality. Easy listening and engaging.
