My Thoughts: Wowza!!! I went into this not even reading the Synopsis and it had me within the first chapter! I could hardly let myself stop listening. The characters and the building of this suspense and not knowing, the questioning and plot twists were amazing! Where has Kiersten been my whole suspense, thrilling loving life!!! I immediately ordered like 5 of her books!!!

If you like Frieda McFadden, pick up this book!!!! I mean this was a listen/read in one sitting!!! My mouth dropped at the ending!!! Chef's Kiss of a suspenseful thriller!

I liked it.

I mean, it wasn't those most diabolical book I've listened too. But it was good. Held my attention and I wasn't bored. Narration was great. Overall it was worth the credit.

Stupid weak women doing stupid weak things

Have you ever listened to a story that you wished everyone would die in? Well this is it. No twist, no thrills, just weak women getting pregnant by a lying man then acting surprised when everything falls apart. I don't know if the narration was just that horrible or if it was the book itself. I truly hate leaving a bad review on a book because I'm not an author and have no idea how difficult it must be to be a writer. However, I feel like this book/narrator should come with a "sucks" warning.

Immersing

You know when an author is a good writer when they create a character that you can truly despise. I’ve dated a narcissistic charmer like Lucas before. The more I heard of this story the more I hated him. He was real slick. I enjoyed hearing the back stories in this listen. I thought all the characters were well written and by the end that listener felt like they knew them. But when you read or listen to this story at the end you think “just desserts”.

An interesting ending

I enjoyed listening to this book although I hated the husband for all his lies. The ending was surprising & interesting

Wow what a ride!

The twists kept coming! Loved this complex love triangle+one!! Lucas is a character just made to loathe but his performances juggling his lies is amazing. Unraveling the recent past to get to the present was seamless as the writing is spectacular as always by this author.

Narration was excellent and added to how great the story is!!

Twisted

An interesting listen with an ending I did not see coming. I listen to a lot of thrillers, and usually have an idea what to expect at the end. This one totally blindsided me which is a good thing. The only reason I did not give five stars to this book is because I felt, the women were too trusting, and should have been a little more suspicious than they were.

Good book!

This was a decent story. Many people here have criticized how stupid the women were and that this is a terrible book because of it. Stupid as these women may be, this story is absolutely plausible, and I am sure there are many women in similar situations. That said, if you go into the book knowing that poor decisions are made in abundance, you can potentially enjoy this story like I did.

My only complaint? Unfortunately, the narrator's male voice was almost intolerable, and I really suffered through it to get through the story. I hesitate to listen to any of this narrator's other work.

What a TWISTED LOVE story!

I loved this book and love the narrator. The writing is amazing and keeps you at the edge of your seat.
