Loved it, until the letdown of an ending
Yes, that pretty much sums up my reaction to this book. It was great, until the flat reveal in the final pages. The author borrowed a lot of plot and character from the Daphne du Maurier classic Rebecca. Credit the excellent narration for making the book very compelling, until the author neglected to give it a plausible ending.
