Great beginning!
This was incredibly scary and creepy and I enjoyed every second of it, though I couldn't listen to it at night ;)
When Brian and Jenny move into a house in the country because of Brian's heart, they never expected to get more than they paid for! As soon as they move in they realise that something isn't right in their house and thy have some unexpected guests! Then they find a grave yard in their basement, the basement that keeps opening by itself!! What is going on and just who is the incredibly creepy a&& kid!!
This was a really quick listen though didn't feel like it as so much was happening and so many different characters were introduced, some living but most dead!! The characters (both living and dead) were well written and developed. I really liked Brian and Jenny, though I have to say that Leo was my favourite even though he wasn't introduced till near the end!!
The plot was really fast paced and addicting. You are brought into the action right from the start and it doesn't stop till the very end. The ghosts were all so creepy but none more so than Sam. He totally freaked me out!!!
In all, a well written story that gave me chills. This is an author that I need to check out and see more of their books!! Definitely recommend, though maybe not at night!!!
Thom Bowers gives a great performance as always. He has plenty of tones and voices and brings the characters alive.
I was given this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This in no way affected nor influenced my thoughts.

Book 1 Moving in
This is book one in the Moving in series. The supernatural horror with scary ghosts and haunted houses. You have Brian a nd Jenny who also appeared in Berkley Street Series. You have Demon ghosts as well as friendly ghost. Brian an Jenny buy and move into their haunted house. Strange noises and things happen. They find bodies buried in the basement like an old cemetery. You now add Leo the ghost buster who comes to help. You can bond with these chsracters and feel their emotions the way Ron has written it as the book goes on. The characters are interesting with this believable storyline. Luckily Leo leaves his books so Brian can carry on the ghost busting. I am looking forward to book number 2. I recommend this book.

I Just Can't Get Enough of Ron Ripley!
The Moving in as well as the Berkeley Street Series are two of my Favorite Ron Ripley Series. I also Love the way several characters from one series may show up in another, this in turn makes his characters more life-like as they visit, or come to the aid of a friend. In doing this, Ron draws you even further into his world. While I won't get into specifics because I don't believe in spoilers, I also won't rehash the description you've probabally already read for yourself. What I can do is offer you my thoughts and/or my opinions about this book (or Series). So here goes:
The Storyline was well thought out, the Characters were well developed with just enough background for you to get a sense of who they are, no noticeable typos or errors in sentence structure. I loved this Series so much in fact that I not only purchased it as individual books, but in the boxed set and Audio as well. As for the Orator, I felt his pacing was in tune with the story, the events, and his voice inflection. Highly Recommended.
On a personal note: I have been a Scare Street (Authors) fan since there were only 2 of them. With each new additional author under the Scare Street Banner, I find myself loving another author I might've never taken a chance on, especially in this ever growing sea of self-published, poorly edited, typo laden drivelfest out there these days. I digress, sorry about that. By taking a chance on any of the other Scare Street Authors, you won't be disappointed. I haven't found one yet that I haven't liked. :-)
