Publisher's Summary

Reading, writing, and relentless terror...

Ghost hunter Shane Ryan has never had an easy life. Years of battling paranormal forces and supernatural evil have taken their toll. But the former marine isn’t ready to give up the fight yet. So when a missing girl stirs up memories of an old case, Shane sets out to investigate.

Communing with the spirits, Shane discovers a link between the killer and a vicious biker gang based in New Hampshire. Tracking them to their clubhouse, Shane soon finds himself embroiled in another battle against horrific forces from beyond.

Other girls have gone missing, and they all fit the same profile. Young. Innocent. Perfect little angels. Someone behind the scenes is gathering a flock of students for an infernal school of the dead. Unless Shane can stop them in time, these missing girls are about to learn an unforgettable lesson in terror.

And Shane may find himself consumed by the nightmares of his past once and for all....

Love it

Thom Bowers has an amazing voice for each of these characters and does so well with them. Ron Ripley and Nick Efstathiou writing together is amazing to listen to. Shane Ryan stars in this series with his ghost and I love them. Shane is fighting for the greater good this time it's humans instead of ghost (they come later) to save people. I feel bad for the bad guys but they deserve every bit of it honestly

Absolutely loved this book

I will say that I had my concerns about this book at the beginning - anything that touches on trafficking of children - but I will say that the story is an incredible read. Such a fresh take on a ghost story. It intertwines with Shane's teenage years when girls in his neighborhood went missing. Carl and Eloise feature in this story as well.

Shane 💙

If you are at all familiar with Ripley's books, then odds are you are familiar with Shane... if not, then this will be a gateway.
This story was interesting, and framed with redemption as a driving force. Looking forward to more as usual!

Enjoyed it

I love the horror of the story and how creepy it can get. I read the book version (which was great) and the audio version did it justice. Shane is a very interesting character.

Soul collector

I was given the audio version of this book in exchange for an honest review and I'm willingly doing so now. I also bought the e book version I covered both my bases on this one. I love Shane and I'm glad to see hum back and seeing him as the true hard as nails man. you see why he is the way he is. I'm so glad to see the every present Carl and Eloise in this book. you really can't have Shane and not see Carl and Eloise they ate a big part of Shane and the story. The MC club never saw Shane coming loved it.

Shane is back, and need I say more?

Yes, Shane is back. Many many of us are so happy! This was a great book, and a lot of Scare Street readers got what we wanted! Lots of ghosty violence and gore, along with his concerned for the well-being and safety of a child! Not big on his newest companion, but hopefully she can help. Can’t wait for the next book!

Another great Ron Ripley book

It was good to meet up with familiar characters, Shane Ryan, and Carl, together with the new. Ron Ripley and his writing collaborator do not disappoint.
