Publisher's summary

Marrying The Lady is the third stand-alone regency romance story in The Lady series.

Constance Wellington has just launched her first charge into society. Weeks later, Arabella Allington and her new husband, Viscount Pommeray, are off on their honeymoon while Constance's employers are touring the south of France. She's barely started enjoying this peaceful reprieve when another charge is thrust upon her. If she thought Arabella was a handful, preserving Miss Penelope's virtue might very well make her reconsider the nunnery!

Sweet tale

A sweet tale of how a surprise visit can go wrong but then ends up better than anyone ever could imagine. Great story for such a short and sweet tale.

No rest for Constance.

Another fun, short listen in the entertaining "The Lady Series." In this one, Constance finds her HEA. She's in charge of the household while her charge is on her honeymoon. Visitors come by when all the excitement starts.
The narration is good and appropriate. 5 stars there, too.

quick and lite

Another trip down the path of the Lady series. This time we get to see Constance tackle a new charge that my have been a bit more then Arabella. I did not think that could happen. This was nice continuation of the world created by Daisy Landish, but not my favorite.

Harry Frost had the voice to carry off this clean sweet historical romance. The cadence of his voice and the crispness of the audio quality held it altogether well.

Constance

This is a sweet romance. Constance is enjoying the quiet home, while the family is traveling. Lord Allington arrives with his daughter Penelope, on his way to pick up his son from Eton. He leaves Penelope there and will be back soon. Unbeknownst to Constance, Penelope takes off early the next morning. During the search for her, Constance and Lord Allington’s relationship develops.
The story is well written and engaging. The characters are interesting and relatable. The narration was well done. I received a free copy of this audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.
