The Narrator is terrible!

Although I tried to finish , it was impossible. This was a painful experience. A first I thought. maybe I can ignore the reader and just follow the storyline. However, it soon became clear that the storyline was as bad or worst then the narrator.

1.0 or 1.25 not satisfactory

The Audio transmission did not do the book justice. I found it too slow on 1.0 and too fast on 1.25

Sad story line

I love most of May mcgoldricks books but found so many sad situations in this book. It didn’t make for light fun reading. Yes it’s probably true to Life. But a bit too realistic when I’m
Trying to escape everyday drudgery. Well written and narrated but again just too many cruel people in it for me to enjoy
