not sure what happened
so if you read all the previous books and are a fan, you might be disappointed with this one. for one the time lines dont make sense. halt is retired butt king duncan is on his death bed. duncan was a young man when he took the throne and halt and the other barons secured his rule when morgarath. and i have no problem with girls becoming rangers but a sling is not in the same league as a bow. i felt at the end this book was lacking in story and thought

My favorite author.
The entire ranger series is fantastic. From the person reading it to the story line and characters, everything, is perfect. It's funny, exciting, action packed, and transports the listeners to another world. I highly recommend the entire rangers apprentice and royal ranger series to everyone. You wont be disappointed!!!
