Philip C. Quaintrell does it again!

If you’re a fan of The Witcher, then you will absolutely LOVE all of Quaintrell’s books. I’ll put it to you this way, I’d rather read every book he writes with Asher as the main character than watch an entire new season of The Witcher; and I’m a huge Witcher fan.

All of his books never fail to keep you at the edge of your seat, and trying to read and/or listen every chance you get. Quaintrell’s writing is magical! His way of describing a scene or character makes you feel as if you are right there in the story, fighting alongside with Asher. He eloquently described everything perfectly to a T without taking forever to build up a character or scene.

I am absolutely in love with all of Quaintrell’s books with Asher. Easily some of the best series I’ve ever read. And Steven Brand has the PERFECT voice for Asher. I recommend all Quaintrell’s books to all of my friends, those who read fantasy and those who don’t.

Your life isn’t complete unless you get to know Asher!

Very entertaining

Started the book while in a 17 hour road trip. Didn’t finish it and could not stop listening. Cant wait to follow the story.

great world building, character development, plot, pacing, intrigue and ending. Loved every minute of it. No notes.

Good book, I'll get the next one

The book was good and I will get the next one however it took awhile to really sink my teeth in. it was but slow in the beginning but by the end I really wanted to know more about the MC.

Story is good. Narration, not so much

Narrator reads like he’s on a 3rd grade reading level. Certainly no Roy Dotrice. He doesn’t do justice to the book, unfortunately.

Asher, Enough said.

Only because the response is required. I could live in Asher's world and love the continued connection and story that moved me past Tolkien, Paolini, and Rowling. Thank you for the adventures I cannot seem to get enough of. Thank you to Podium also! You give me opportunities for myself that I will always treasure.
