I just finished listening to the ALC for Kaden and SHEESH!

Amanda Willow and Sean Masters KILLED IT! You can hear the tension, and the snarkiness (looking at you, Aphrodite!). They brought Kaden and Aphrodite to life in the best way! I always know it's gonna be great when Sean is narrating. And I've recently discovered Amanda and am loving going through her books!

Kaden is fast paced, dark, hot and steamy and had me emotional by the end!

I LOVED Aphrodite as an fmc! She's strong and independent, and i love how sassy she is!

The two of them have such stong characters. But they kind of melt each other a bit. And the way Kaden loves this woman... all the swoons.

Forbidden, forced proximity, dark academia, touch her and die, spice... this had everything! I 100% recommend this audiobook

Sean Masters is the only reason I listened...

I'm confused. So this mafia princess, Aphrodite, is starting at a new in high school after an unexplained move away from home. She meets Kaden, a broody, gorgeous guy who she sleeps with 12 seconds after meeting him (we find out later she's quite the slut). They have lots of sex, then her safety is compromised, so she's moved to a snowy cabin, and this teenage-something Kaden goes to protect her. Somehow he barks orders like he's the boss and can out maneuver trained bodyguards. "Aph" drugs Kaden then decides to leave because nothing starts a good kidnapping scene like a dingbat chick who makes stupid decisions then is shocked when she's kidnapped.
Her captor is her rival who faked her death and is upset Aph slept with her...cousin? I guess. Then Kaden bursts in, guns blazing, and she's saved.
There wasnt a plot until halfway through the story and it's left on a cliffhanger. Sean Masters was outstanding as usual, but the story itself was a dud.

Aphrodite the goddess of love….and boy did she make Kaden fall!

Just when I thought Linz von c couldn’t top Wolfe she hits us with Kaden. I was so intrigued by him after Wolfe and his story did not disappoint. Trying to get over Michelle vowing off women just to be hit with Aph… really Aphrodite….his friends cousin….. Kaden tried to fight the feelings but it was an uphill battle when faced with the goddess herself. Her name rang true for how she made Kaden feel. Aphrodite needs protection and who better to do it than Kaden. They fall for each other… trying to protect their own hearts. Aphrodite is quite the little spitfire for taking on a war in her own. Thankfully Kaden is there to help. Aphrodite is now faced with a completely different world but who better to have by her side than the man who would burn down the world for her. This story was spicy with suspense the perfect combination. I was convinced I knew who the villain was from go but was utterly shocked when it was revealed. I didn’t want this story to end. I felt like I could have listened to so much more! Their story it was great. This was a quick listen and it truly held my attention desperate to see what was next for us. I cannot wait to dive into the other audio books when they come out. Linz Von C does it again.

This was my first listen of Amanda Willow. She did fantastic with bringing Aphrodite to life. Her voice matched the character perfectly. As always Sean Masters smashed this one. He plays the bad boy so well. His voice was pure perfection as Kaden! This paring was perfect for this story. Both narrators did a fantastic job.

Darker HS Romance

So I didn't know that this book was based on HS aged MCs so that threw me. Honestly, they didn't feel like HS aged characters so it was easy to let that go. I hadn't read the first book in the series but that did not cause any issues. Kaden was a possessive MMC that definitely had an unhinged side. He played that part well and I enjoyed watching the relationship evolve between him and Aph. Aphrodite was a Mafia princess who did not have the bloodthirsty vibe. She had some struggles and needed to grow up and grow a backbone which she did. The twist was very good but also heart wrenching. 3.5 stars for me.

The narration was top notch. Amanda Willows was new to me but she did a great job narrating Aph. Sean Masters is an incredible narrator and always brings it. 5 stars for narration.

This was good

The narrators Sean Masters and Amanda Willow did a fantastic job! Both of their performances made significant impressions on me. Amanda’s sweet voice has the perfect cadence for Aphrodite’s essence and persona. Sean has brought out the best traits of Kaden starting with his broodiness and possessiveness. Man oh man when Sean growls dear lord my poor panties!
Well that was sweet, fast, and to the point! She doesn’t realize just how dark his world really is, as much as she’s protecting him or trying to keep him from getting mixed up in her world. What she doesn’t know is that it’s too late. There’s nothing this man won’t do for her. From edging her, to taming her brat, to getting rid of people that are after her.
She tried to escape without him in order to protect him. But it’s a good thing he’s determined, she needed his help. She didn’t see it coming, but she definitely needs to watch the ones that are closest to the family. They will always be the ones to betray first. Jealousy is never a good thing.
