Great story!

This was a really good story. I loved the characters. Axe and Zoey had history and a connection that made the chemistry between them great. They will have your heart breaking for their past and hoping for their future.

Joe Arden and Michelle Sparks did a great job bringing this story to life and their voices fit the characters perfectly.

Y’all… this audiobook was messy messy in the best way possible.

We start off with Zoey and Axe, childhood friends who’ve known each other since grade school. He’s the quiet, reclusive boy with a rough home life, and she’s his fierce little protector until high school hits and one heartbreaking choice changes everything. One moment of peer pressure, one awful decision… and their friendship shatters.

Fifteen years later, Axe reappears. He’s no longer the quiet boy she once knew… he’s rich, successful, and carrying a whole lot of unresolved pain. Zoey’s chasing her own dreams in the spotlight, but their worlds collide again and what unfolds is chaotic, emotional, and oh-so-addictive. There’s revenge, regret, rekindled love, and so much delicious tension that kept me anxious and glued to my earbuds.

The audiobook performance? Phenomenal. Michelle Sparks brought such depth and vulnerability to Zoey… her guilt, her insecurities, and her growth all felt raw and real.
Joe Arden perfectly embodied Axe… that wounded, lonely boy turned guarded, commanding man. When his walls start to crack and you finally hear that warmth come through… perfection.

I won’t give away any spoilers, but this story will have you feeling everything… anger, heartbreak, and ultimately, hope. It’s messy, emotional, and completely addictive from start to finish.

Whew talk about a plot twist! I mean no surprise considering the title is “total obsession” lmao!

But man can he hold a grudge!! Just for Zoey to be such a strong person and find the strength to forgive him. Man that speaks so much volume.

Stalker’s Obsession

Total Obsession is just as much brutal and thrilling as it is emotional and heart stopping. The way this story takes you on multiple twists and turns will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. The characters were written in such a intricate way you have a love hate connection to them. Axe, the MMC, is a mystery and very talented in manipulating people's feelings that have wronged him. This man can be down right frightening with how he can mask his true feelings and intentions as well as having unnerving control with everything he says and does. Axe is definitely a man not to cross if you want to remain alive. While Zoey, the FMC, is a very sweet and empathic person that never let her successes consume her or make her into a shallow person. When these two come together, they soon learn you can't judge a book by it's cover because every thing is not as it seems. Axe and Zoey have a connection that is all consuming, strong as steel, and one that never truly died out despite past transgressions. The spice was definitely delicious, hot, and intense. This love story is one I won't forget.
Narrators Joe Arden and Michelle Sparks never fail to impress me everytime I come across any of their audiobooks. These two are so talented and keep you in a chokehold for the entire listen. Joe Arden is a true master when it comes to playing characters in pscyhological thrillers going from charming to down right scary in 60 seconds or less. The control this man has when he's talking at a normal volume and then smoothly transitions to a sinister whisper is down right diabolical. Michelle does very well bringing out her characters emotions and vulnerability with grace and authencity. Well done to these two! Thank you Blue Nose Audio and Ivy Wild for this amazing ALC opportunity!

Total Obsession was a trauma filled second-chance romance with a revenge twist & I loved it! Axel & Zoey were childhood best friends until Zoey's actions sent Axel on a spiral for revenge. What happens when the life you know & love doesn't even feel like your own?

The duet narration for this audiobook was fantastic! Michelle & Joe did an impeccable job bringing this twisty story to life! Their voices compliment one another perfectly & the attention to detail with every emotion they spoke was amazing!

If you love a darker second chance romance filled with twists & turns look no further!

This book was dark, toxic, obsessive and so, so good. A well thought out plan of revenge, with a mafia vibe, unforgivable behaviors, possible redemption, and all the things in between.

Performed in duet by Michelle Sparks and Joe Arden, all the YES’s for this one.

Terrific Story & Narration🎧Gripping & Intense!

Such a fitting title for a book that will become your total obsession, a book that once you start you can not stop because you need to know what happens next. Ivy Wild cleverly created a dark psychological romance like no other, and one that will tug at your heartstrings for both characters. Aksel “Axe” Michelson and Zoey Campbell were best friends growing up, sharing each other’s secrets, including how terrible Axe’s abusive father treated him. Zoey, trying to fit in with the “in” crowd at school, blew Axe off, and her betrayal nearly broke him, then adding insult to injury was his father. He ran away from his life and, thanks to the kindness of a stranger, he started a new one, one he excelled in, though it was a shady life with shady people, to say the least. The one thing he lived for was his vengeance, vengeance for Zoey wronging him and breaking him. He takes stalking to a whole new level, keeping tabs on her and steering her career from afar, first as a model and then as an actress. His goal was to build her up and then take it all away, not before getting up close and personal with her again. Zoey never let her success go to her head, and going from modeling to acting has its challenges, but it fell into place for her, landing a role she wanted, and her new acting gig included an apartment to live in. And then she sees him, the one who disappeared from her life and her one regret. Axe was no longer the boy she knew, and is now a man of confidence, wealth and mystery. It was interesting to learn Axe’s backstory, where he landed after the horrific day he left home fifteen years earlier and what made him into the man he was today, a man of power, a vicious man. He soon learns nothing is as he thought with Zoey and rethinks his plan, but too many things were already in motion. Adding more layers to the story is what he does for a living and who he works for, power plays and double-crossing going on there too. There is never a dull moment in this book, a cleverly plotted story that has the perfect balance of drama, angst, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Ivy Wild, thank you for another fantastic story and wild ride.

Sparks was a natural in Zoey’s role, grasping every aspect of her personality, from her insecurities to her strength and determination, nailing it all. Arden was just as amazing as Axe, showcasing all sides of his personality and demeanor perfectly, from a controlled and in charge alpha to a ruthless killer, and all in between. They set the right tone for the story, conveyed all the characters’ emotions in their performance, making you feel them all. It is a pleasure to listen to Arden and Sparks’ performance, and their engaging storytelling keeps you hooked to the story.
