Very good content...

This book has very good content but is horrible as as audio book due to having to listen to five minute long code descriptions including curly braces and tabs.

I honestly could have gotten so much from just being able to listen to Java concepts over and over but the code description made it unbearable so I will have to go out and buy the book also even though I hate reading.

Meaty Java Book

I bought the first book in this series, so I knew what to expect. This book has a lot of detail. The author does a great job explaining the functions of Java and following up with examples. Listen with a pencil and notebook handy for the code!

Don't read the code

It was fine until the narrator started reading through each line of code...it should just refer people to the book of they need to see specific lines.

Useful book

Honestly, I've never seen any computer book this relatable. This book actually talks to you rather than just throwing technical terms at you. It takes you through the concepts with ample amount of examples and pictures. And sometimes, it kind of feels like a kids book with all the pictures and the font(comic sans, really?). Don't get me wrong it actually helps understand things way better. Definitely recommended for anyone who needs to start learning java programming.

This book was benefit for my Java project. It was a long time that I was looking for computer programmer and instructor who has developed several applications and computer programs. I've learned now enough functions and algorithms to impress my co-workers
