Great explanation of the 5 types of IF

Finished the book in less than 3 hours by speeding it up a bit, a feature of audible that I am grateful for. Great explanation of the 5 different Intermittent fasting types, as well as the benefits and differences of IF on men and women. I'd appreciate if the book laid down references or studies when stating facts.

not a diet but rather a lifestyle to fast

I did different kinds of diets in the past. They work well but I constantly find myself gaining weight again. Intermittent fasting, on the other hand, is not a diet but rather a lifestyle to fast at certain hours or days depending on what fasting resolution you'd choose. If you can get past the narrators poor pronunciation of Intermittent, this book will be a great reference for beginners.

While I find this material enough for me to know the ins and outs of Intermittent fasting, I realized that Intermittent fasting is different for men and women. I'd suggest to fully understand the concept before diving in the fasting. There are really health benefits but it may take awhile before our body adjusts to the lifestyle.
