I love the story! need a new narrator!
Sometimes the narrator talks as if she's a robot herself and it's quite frustrating. Some of the sentences sort of bleed together and you don't know if things are being said to another person or if she's thinking in her own mind. The lack of emotion portrayed through the narrator sort of makes the story confusing at times.

Its OK Glad for continuation of the story tho
Glad for the continuation of the story, but this one is missing something. Its kind not as good as the first book. The narrator is mechanical in her reading, almost computerized in some places.

I love Ben, I love how her relationship with her brother helps sort of unravel and reveal all kinds of things about the story and world that they live in. Can't wait to find out how the rest of their story unfolds!

a bit disappointed
Not sure why but this book just didn't flow well with me. It wasn't too long or too short or too slow or too fast. It just was off for me. Maybe Avlyn being so willing to run off into danger without a plan or care what it might cost her friends. Not saying the story was bad or wrong for the series, just not a good fit for me at this point in the series.

Holy mother of god!!!!!!
This book was so good . I can’t believe what’s happened. I knew that slimy Psycho was bad news . Especially with all the “” testing “” he was doing . I hope he’s ok and not caught by the Enemy .
