Publisher's Summary

"In a world where dreams are real, nightmares reign."

Around the world humans are hallucinating after sleepless nights.

In a sterile, underground institute the forecasters keep reporting the same events.

And in the backwoods of Texas, a 16-year-old girl is about to be caught up in a fierce, ethereal battle.

Meet Roya Stark. She drowns every night in her dreams, spends her hours reading classic literature to avoid her family's ridicule, and is prone to premonitions - which are becoming more frequent. And now her dreams are filled with strangers offering to reveal what she has always wanted to know: Who is she? That's the question that haunts her, and she's about to find out. But will Roya live to regret learning the truth?

if you're an adult you might want to steer clear !

this book is geared toward adolescents, as an adult I found it quite tedious.

Great Read

The Lucidites Series, Complete Boxed Set (The Lucidites #1-3) was a good read by Sarah Noffke. This boxed set consists of; Awoken, Stunned, and Revived. These books follow Roya Star, a sixteen year old girl who is about to get involved in the battle of her life. I really enjoyed reading these books and can't wait to read more by Sarah Noffke.

Absolutely Fabulous

I was riveted to my seat by the whole series. I enjoyed the fast action, constant danger and even the teenage love involving several of the characters. I was fascinated with the concept of dream traveling and loved following the characters as they struggled to understand their role in the Lucidite society. The battles that ensued where full of action. The narrator brought each and every character to life and you felt like you were standing right there experiencing what they were experiencing. I highly recommend listening to this series.

Will Roya find all the anwers she is looking for

Roya is at the Lucidite Institute to learn all she needs to know to be a dream warrior or to learn and to become a weapon for them what she is not aware of is that she has a family other than Steve and Bob who brought her up and they loved her and she appreciates them being there when she needs them. She makes a few friends and she falls for Aidan who is a scientist at Lucidite who runs the dream sequences and creates things to keep each one safe from mind control. She meets George who becomes a good friend and Joseph who is a jokester and lovable when he is not doing something silly and the man in charge is Trey who seems to always be upset with her and he will not let up. She doesn't like him and rebels but then she is told that she has to bring down a villain but things don't exactly go as plan and she is injured but recovers. Then she is dragged into another situation by a demon who wants her for himself and they will need everyone to help in this. Joseph is having problems and Roya finds out something that will blow her mind and she will be shocked to find out who her father is. Boxset has an Interesting storyline and characters. Fantasy, Action-adventure, mystery, and romance. I was given a copy from the author without obligations. I am providing an honest review.

Good listen

An interesting box-set, highly entertaining, a few surprises, danger, a few thrills, well plotted with interesting characters that hold your attention. Roya  isn’t one of my favorite characters I didn’t like how she played with George, I really felt sorry for him, besides that I thought it was a great story that held my interest.

The narrator did a wonderful job bring true emotion to the story that made me feel what each character was going through. There were a few times I felt like crying. She gave true meaning to the words the author wrote. I knew what each character felt, I felt their pain, sorrow, thrills, excitement. Her character voices were delightful, you always knew who was talking and what they were felt. There were no background noise, no volume change, if any breaks were taken I could not tell, no repeating of words. It was a nice clear listen, I look forward to listen to more of this narrators work. She has a voice I could listen to all day.

I thought this was a good listen, it has a nice plot, characters you can relate. There were times I thought oh no this can’t be good, how could you do that, there were times I really wanted to pull the characters in my arm and take their pain away. For the most part it was a very touching listen.

The Narrator Really Brought This to Life

I didn't expect to finish such a long listen in under a week but I was riveted within the first thirty minutes and essentially didn't put it back down. The story was fascinating and the narrator helped to further bring it to life!

Great Narration. Good story.

I love Urban-Fantasy and this series fits in well. It's an interesting take on self-made folklore and the dream abilities and magic used by the characters are described well. It's geared toward a young-adult audience, for those asking. If you enjoy interesting characters in a decently developed world, pick it up. In a lot of ways, it's a modern form of The Pendragon Series.

The only reason I dropped a star was because of it being in first person, while I prefer third. It's just a personal preference issue.

I was given this free copy for a review. In no way did this influence my review.

Loved the series

I loved the series. This was the first series/book from this author and won't be the last.
The audible wasn't going fast enough for me, so I had to get the kindle version just because I could read it faster than listening to it.
The books did not disappoint me.

Entertaining

Teen/ young adult fantasy romance mystery. Plenty of twists and turns to keep one interested and entertained. Secrets are slowly unraveled as the team takes on outside forces. The narrator did a nice job! I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Such a shame - excellent Idea- Awful story

This series had so much promise. The story and idea is really great.
Book 1 is just about readable
Book 2 I skipped whole chapters. simply awful
Book 3 - I'm not listening to it.
The majority of the books is spent by the main character examining and re-examining her 'love' for the two men she likes.
The actual story is almost incidental.
Such a shame.
also, the books are full of swear words.. Why is this necessary?
Do yourself a favour and listen to something else!
