As a widower, raising five kiddos, this is good medicine for the soul. This book has so many helpful hints that I’ve bookmarked them so I can return to them

The first few chapters are about his son being murdered and although I wept through those chapters, the following ones were well worth it

If you or a loved one have list someone close, THIS IS THE BOOK YOU WANT

The author notes that people recommended books to him after his son was murdered and about six months after his death, he read them and they were helpful

Practical application

I really appreciate the practical tools described in the book. For a long time, I didn't know how reconcile lost and hope . I also appreciate that I am not the only one going through the same experience . Thank you for your willingness to share

I don’t normally write reviews, but after listening to this book, I just couldn’t resist. We cried, laughed, and internalized what Dr. Warren said and wrote. Now I will devour his other books and try to learn the lessons.

Your belief has more power than your reality.

Im going through very difficult divorce. My husband using our innocent children against their mother. The pain, the suffer. Struggle trying think positive every single day. Not seeing my children for over ten months. I can clearly & deeply understand what doctor Lee, go through with his family. I do have hope in God & higher consciousness.
