Great Book! It made me cry at points when it felt it talking to my heart. It is a great book and makes you realize that disappointments is part of our story but not the entire story.

So deep

This book strikes too deep for me in the beginning. I very much enjoyed things past chapter 6. I like how she talks about how God is transforming her life and adds biblical references. This would’ve been better had it been narrated by a professional. I almost stopped the first 30 minutes in just because of the narration.

Encouraging and uplifting

this is a great book for anyone. It is an encouragement in any situation a person could face. She did a great job!

Yeah, but

This book would have been more compelling if more detail of her particular struggles were given . I kept wanting ti say yeah, but to many of her declarations. It was refreshing to voice the existence of doubt and worry. Voice seemed hurried throughout the narration.

I know I will listen to this book again, and again, I had to stop my car so I could cry "with" her. I love Lisa's work and I have shared this book with all of my friends and kindred readers who have audible. Absolutely in your heart and soul. Always praying for you Lisa!

Healing in this book!

Loved and appreciated this book. Appreciated that Lysa is the narrator. Appreciated that she shared her private story of heart ache and betrayal.
Appreciated immensely how she shows us how to rethink our own story and walk closely with God.
One take away I'm focusing on the most is what we stare at is what we will stear towards. Thank you Lysa.

Heartfelt and encouraging

Awesome book with such rawness of emotions yet the kind of encouragement through Christ that you need because life even for the best of us isn't perfect or great at times. It's a good reminder that God is there for us always and His will for us is always better than our own. I enjoyed this book tremendously!
