lack of humanity in machine voice
Like in so many other areas of our lives, we are now losing the humanity of a reader in Audible. I feel like I should buy up all human read books while I can still get them. this transition from human to automation goes faster and faster. Awesome read.
I listened to this everywhere I went from my ear pods, to my car stereo. One of those types of books that has you on the edge of your seat, wanting to know what happens next.

the computer generated narration is terrible. The inflection is off. word pronunciation incorrect. For example P.I. was pronounced PIE.

Good story but…
Good story however this was my first time listening with a virtual voice- not a fan. The voice doesn’t change in sound, inflection, or cadence so initially it is wrong to distinguish between characters. Overall, would listen to other books by this author but might steer clear of virtual voice.
