It was alright. Not my favorite

The male narrator ruined this for me
This was nit my favorite book by this author. It just didn’t do it for me

How stupid Alexis is.

No communication between the two. Maybe if they did most of the bad shit would not have happened

Great storyline but male narrator was awful. Female was great but it was hard to listen to.

The story was good but the FMC made me so mad. I don’t understand why she did so much to put herself and her baby in danger

Good story not so good narration

This could have been so much more and better with better narration.I liked the story not the audiobook

Great Start

Story started off great! Then it took a turn and lost me. It was hard to complete the book and the male narrator voice was fitting for the character but it seemed like he was merely reading I'm thinking he was new at it so I was able to just listen. Female narrator was great.

Didn't like the heroine

By chapter 13 I couldn't listen anymore. He is sexy and his character is spot on. but the heroine is horrible. She is mean, naggy and just uck. I couldn't listen to her anymore, literally.

Pure Fire

Let me start out by saying that I LOVE dark mafia/cartel/bratva stories.

However, I am not a fan of immediately adding a baby into the mix. It just strikes me as being a literary crutch for the lack of a storyline that some authors have a problem developing because they just want to get to the sexy parts of the story.

With that being said, the only reason I read this book is because I absolutely LOVE the author. She is one of my favorites And I will read anything and everything that she writes. I am so glad that I decided to purchase this book.

The male protagonist in this story is unbelievably sexy. The female protagonist is a little irritating. There are times throughout the book where you just want to grab her and shake her. However, don’t let that dissuade you from reading this book because she gets better. Lol

I love the storyline. Read this book. Another home run for the author.

As a sidenote to the author… my OCD self had an issue with this man living in a big beautiful mansion with manicured lawns, but he had a gravel driveway. ROTFL.

I should have DNF'd when she caught her BF cheating. I wanted to slap the FMC throughout the ENTIRE book. there's no growth in her character she's stays the same, acting like she's tough but she's actually just stupid. she ruined it for me. I love all of Nicole Fox's books but this one is a no go.

I loved the narrator, I though his accent brought Gabriel’s character to life

I struggled with the FMC, I really hope that we get to see the growth throughout the series. No character is perfect and for that reason alone I wouldn’t dnf the book. They both have huge trust issues but none are willing to give even a little bit in order to grow. I am a masochist for moody broody assholes and that’s exactly what Gabe is… I need to know what happens!! Therefore I will continue reading the series
