Great short listen

Well developed story with captivating characters. You really don't see the twist coming until the end. Would definitely recommend for a mature audience. The only issue I had was some of the narrators voices are a bit annoying but still a great listen.

Quick enjoyable listen

Kris Szczesny is great at keeping each character's voice different so you're never unsure of who is speaking.

This mystery took the crew to Kansas and had a few more twists to it. Again, it was enjoyable kept me guessing.

Not sure I can finish the book

First the legal stuff. I've (see how I used a compound word there) been given this book free for and honest review. an I plan on just that. Ok so a murder on a farm, cool that sounds like it could go somewhere, possible police corruption, check, PI to look into the whole thing hey pretty awesome, but then what? Ditzy secretary that HAD to go with the PI... why? a PI that doesn't do anything... wow ok fine story sounds like it could be good but starts to fall flat whatever I'll listen. Then we start to realize EVERY ONE TALKS WITH OUR COMPOUND WORDS! You are not going to do that. we can not do that. I will not do this. are you kidding me... everyone in the whole world gave up shortening their sentences huh. when did that happen because I forgot the memo. If it was one or two whatever. Now you power through that and figure out the author only really has one goal, PUT AS MANY GAY CHARACTERS IN HER STORY AS POSSIBLE. I would have loved for the main protagonist to be gay lending something to the story. ok she's married another person that's gay and understandably. The idiot secretary is gay... alright stands to reason. The idiot secretary goes to a bar to hook up several more gay people ok... don't see how that's necessary to tell a story but fine. But when she goes to a farm to help her bosses solve a murder (again why the hell do you need to bring the secretary oh wait were about to find out) she randomly finds a gay female farm had to bang... it's all to much. you want to get gay pride out there ok not everyone in your book needs to be gay. not everyone in your book should have the same personality, not everyone in your book has to speak exact perfect English all the time. Every character should be unique... they are just the same character and it's just them talking to themselves with no plot except everyone is gay...

short murder mystery

Oil, double murder, money. smuggling, you have another murder mystery, conspiracy case down on the farm. who is the undercover agent? and why was the ATF involved? another adventure for the Avery detective agency to solve. A short story full of twists! Kris Szczesney narration makes the story entertaining and fun to listen. 🎧audiobookobsessionreview🎧

Iris's turn

This was a cute story and I'm glad Iris is getting her turn to find someone that can deal with her quirkiness. Iris is all of the place but she likes to have fun. Iris is the focus with her skills and what she is able to bring to the table.

Iris shows us what she is really made of and because of that she is able to help not only to agency grow but also her friends. This story was another short story but it was also fun! A quick listen!

hearts content

This is another case for the Avery directive agency. With the same main characters they set off to solve a murder. Good characters but a very simplistic writing style.
Narration not great very over done.

Short mystery.

Iris gets another chance to help Parker with an investigation. They end up in Kansas working with a police detective, Cam who is working on the same case. That don’t get along well.

Can they get past their differences to solve the case??

Will wait for book 4

Parker and Kay ask Iris to assist in a murder case in Kansas. Iris takes the job and tries to show Parker that she can help with finding the murderer.
Iris meets the local police detective Cam, they aren't really getting along but after a while sparks fly and they try to solve the case together.
Nicole did an outstanding job in this last book. I really hope she considers writing more books in this series because they are really fun to listen to.
They keep you excited until the end.
The narrator does a good job with the different voices. It amazes me that the voices sound so much alike in book 1, 2 and 3. Well done!
Even though you can read every book separately, I would recommend to read them all. To start with book 1 and keep on listening until you finished book 3.
Enjoy!
