Excellent but too short for a credit

If you can listen to this on Plus or get it in a Buy One Get One Free then it's a great listen. Too short for a single credit however.

I've gotten used to the narration and it has grown on me. Excellent Plus listen.

Too short and only part of a story.

We have been waiting a long time to hear another Richard and Kahlan saga. The author broke what should be one story into five novelettes, must be short on cash. Really sticks in my crawl. Saying that, it's good to revisit the series.

It’s a nice novella

Taking the Sword of Truth epic out of the story review I think is only fair. As this is a Novella of the life after the events that took place, not another book in the sword of truth series. Moving forward, this continues the last book in the series and honestly it was not too bad. Taking into consideration this is a short book, not a 35 hour read, Not that much happens, but what does happen is significant and the tension is there. I didn’t say no, I don’t want to continue reading. That never crossed my mind as Terry Goodkind’s writing just sucks you in. Although I did find myself being reminded of things way too often in the book, but that comes with Terry’s style of writing. I know what I signed up for, and I got the goods and the bads.

Is it magnificent? No
Is it a good read? Yes.

Plotholes

Shota omnly said she would kill any MALE child not a female one. the authot needs to go back and read hisw own work.of it wasn't for that fact i would have given the story 5 stars.it is in poor taste to change the story or forget plot points to make a story more interesting.

Excellent!

Love this novella! It was a nice, quick listen, and a wonderful visit inside Richard and Kahlan's world. Definitely listening to the next ASAP.

The narration was excellent, clear and easy to understand at all times, even in a noisy environment.

Favorite Author for 20 years

Leaving me in complete suspense as usual for these books... Can't wait for the story to continue at the Wizard's Keep.

Keeps improving

The story is progressing and feels better than the first. More interested now to read the previous series in the world.
