Great read

This book is great from beginning to end. Full of suspense never a dull moment.

Well written & well narrated

Terry Goodkind can certainly craft a gripping story, people with indelible characters. This one is tight and quickly paced and Angela is a fascinating creation. He’s managed to merge horror, detective fiction, social drama, with his trademark fantasy, but in a subtle way, with Angela’s strange talent for seeing more in the eyes of a killer than just rage or fear. I wish Goodkind were still around to take this series further.

Elizabeth Rogers did a brilliant job narrating this piece, giving it every ounce of life & emotion it needed and deserved. Bravo!

Great Story

I wish it was longer. Great characters and the narrator does a fantastic job, puts you right into the scene of the story & makes you feel the emotions the character is experiencing.

Gripping

For a short novella it was pretty darn good. it was compelling, thrilling and warm-hearted.

I'm moving next to listen to it's companion book about Angela's upbringing.

Very different from other Terry Goodkind's stuff.

I love the main character. Very dark and cunning. Love the wolf and their interaction.
