Publisher's Summary

“Whatever I do or say next, please don't hate me,” I plead in a whisper, and our lips rub. I don't allow him to answer; I claim his lips in a kiss. They're a match made in hell: Reid Brice is the leader of a notorious gang called the Grim Reapers, and Scarlett Hades is the daughter of the lord of the underworld. Scarlett convinces her father, Hades, to let her live on Earth for a year, as she is bored in Hell. She meets Reid on a weekend at the beach, but this is no ordinary, peaceful, sunny day: Reid and his gang are trying to kidnap a young girl. Scarlett comes to the rescue, and thus begins her entanglement with the Grim Reapers. Reid pursues Scarlett, drawn by her bravado and her unusual nonchalance in the face of blood and deadly threats. He thinks this is the girl he has been looking for. Will he still think the same when she reveals her true form to him? Or will he see her as nothing but a monster? Hades' Daughter presents Greek mythology in a way you probably haven't seen before. How will a young-adult goddess survive in the modern human world? Grab a copy now to find out!

Ehh performance, good book

The editor was sleeping through the review of the performance. Multiple duplicate lines. The performer had little to no difference between the female characters. When two females talked to each other it was hard to follow along. Also wish the performer had more emotion in her voice.

Story was alright. I enjoyed it. The performance was not enough to get me to pause the book. The ending was actually not what I had thought that it would be so points for that.

3.5 star listen

3.5 star listen with audio gifted to me in exchange for a review. I think we could see this story continuing after this installment if author wished.
I would say this is upper YA boarding on NA i would say because of the language.
i liked the fmc in this as well as hades. I would say this is how i kind of picture how they would be if i imagined them up.

worth the listen :)

Hade's Daughter

Hm. I was interesting in hearing about this story from the blurb. Itok 's an ok story and I was interested in hearing how the daughter is trying to live a normal life in the human world as a teenager.

Holy Hades! I was not expecting that twist

This book started off a little slow but that’s ok because wooo does the plot turn to what I was least expecting. Charlotte Carol had me on toes once the book got going. It was funny, suspenseful and a weird twisted kind of love all wrapped into one. Dani kept me glued with the different emotions flowing through the entire book. I would love to make friends with Scar. She has a no nonsense personality and loves to play jokes. I wonder if this will have more books coming because let me tell you once you listen to this you will be wanting more and more of the under world.

Hades' Trouble Making Offspring

I really love books about Greek Mythology with an author's creative spin on them and this book definitely delivers that plus a touch of sarcastic wit on the side. The characters are well developed and believable especially their banter toward one another. Scarlett is like every other teenage girl full of angst but she happens to be the daughter of Hades God of the Underworld. Scarlett begs her dad to send her topside for a year and after getting a constant no in so many ways he finally relents but with stiff stipulations.
Scarlett is much like her dad a troublemaker so the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Who knew that letting her have her way would cause nothing but trouble for her and everyone around her? This book contains sarcastic wit, cursing, blood drinking, murder and is action filled. The only problem I have is with the narrator and whoever edited the audiobook because she constantly repeated lines, mispronounced words, and showed no differential voices between female characters so at times it was hard to keep up otherwise I really loved the book.
I received this book for free at my request but it has no bearing on my review.

Great until the end

This book was amazing all the through, up until the end. It literally just stopped. Like they were just done writing or lost interest. It’s from 2017 so I’m guessing there isn’t a 2nd book.

REALLY ENJOYED IT BUT IS THERE MORE???

it did say the end at the end of the actual audiobook but it left us wondering so much and literally at the start of something so it's upsetting because I really want to continue listening. Other than that the narrator was fantastic but the recording company didn't check it over I believe enough before releasing the audio book because several instances the narrator repeated the same sentence or words instead of just once. However it didn't make any difference to me when it came to enjoying the title. I really liked it alot. Hopefully the author will be recording more of this book in series format.

It’s a CLIFFHANGER BOOK...

I wasn’t real thrilled with the cattiness and cruelty and defiant immaturity that showed in this story and the beginning was a bit slow at times, but it did end up reeling me in enough that I want to know more, when it ended as a cliffhanger!!
I tried to find out more about the Author and if there is another book coming out. Bit couldn’t find anything so I have no advise to give about a second book. 🤷‍♀️
It also was a bit irritating that the narrator continually repeat lines of the story:(

A fun listen

Loved the narration of this book. I enjoyed the book but it is definitely a teen story. I thought it would be more YA but felt a tad young for that. Hades daughter is desperate for a taste of the mortal life and all the boy drama that comes with it when you are in high school.

Great

I really enjoyed this book and the characters. With it ending on a cliffhanger I searched the author on Amazon to find she hasn’t written anything since this and it’s prequel so now I’m upset there’s no ending 🤷🏻‍♀️
