Don't buy the audible version 2 1/2 stars

I don't write reviews very often, but I just really struggled with this book. I think some of it was the narration in the Audible version. I hated the switching between the man and woman each chapter. I especially couldn't stand how whiny the male narration of the female voices was, especially Nola. the female narrator was better.
I love Gena Showalter! She's a good to auto for me but not in this series. I forced myself to finish this. Storyline was kind of weak and the relationship between the main characters made me roll my eyes and lot.
I really hope that the story gets better because the idea is great.
I really wanted to like it more.

Double Trouble!

Loved Gena’s second installment to gods of war series! Story and characters were great albeit a bit rushed at the end but otherwise had me wanting more. The narrators were also good,(can’t go wrong with Robert Petkoff ^-^) and Melissa Moran was satisfactory but I’m definitely more into single narrating than multiple. It was too distracting for me. Overall I give it a thumbs up!

Wonderful

This is the second book of the Gods of War series. I adored the first book in this series and was very excited for this release. Definitely worth the wait. Though I still love Knox, we get to meet Bane and Nola. Loved the snarky humor. Can’t wait for this to continue and maybe get to know Zion?

Showalter & Petkoff for the win

I'm SO happy Gena went with Robert petkoff for this second installment I did not care for the previous male narrator, Melissa Moran was amazing both books hope she keeps these narrators. I loved this book it's set at the same time as with vale and knox's story but nola and banes story I loved them so much how it went from must hate her shes going to be evil to him not letting her go back n saving his old wife. I NEED book 3 now.

I couldn't recommend

There were a lot of cringe worthy moments throughout this book. Bad writing mostly, but also the female voice actor. Three stars at a stretch.
