Publisher's summary

No one screws with my family.

My sister and I are human orphans raised by the world’s best assassin, taught to steal and kill our way through the dragonlands under her watchful eye. Grown men fear us, and no one knows we’re coming until it’s too late to run.

Irena and I - we’re good. The best. In a dog-eat-dragon kind of world, we have to be. But someone betrayed us. Someone we trusted with our lives.

Irena is missing. My mentor is gone. And as for me...the man responsible for this mess thought he killed me. He kicked me into a pit, and he left me to die.

But I don’t give up that easy.

In the darkness, facing death itself, I fused with dragons. I had no choice. This is ancient magic, and dangerous people want it. They want me, dead or alive, and they’ll start a war if that’s what it takes to control me.

The magic I discovered - the magic these brutal people want - it’s mine, plain and simple. No one can take it from me. And I’m coming back from the dead.

For blood. For vengeance.

For Irena.

Reign of Dragons is a full-length novel with a badass heroine, a riveting storyline, and an alternative relationship dynamic. Get ready for a heart-pounding story filled with a dragon shifter romance unlike anything you’ve heard before.

Buckle in for heart-pounding action, breathtaking magic, deadly assassins, four drop-dead gorgeous leading men, lots of toned muscles, and most importantly - a young woman’s journey of justice, self-discovery, and freedom.

Decent, Love Interests are a bit much

The story isn't well thought out. She's supposed to be a trained mercenary but she doesn't take safety and betrayal seriously. Every single male she encounters romantically desperately wants her and by the 4th man - who by simply looking at her and barely talking to her are soooo in love - it gets tiring and annoying. Great concept but author got lazy any it shows.

The bachelorette with superpowers

as my title suggests this is nothing more than a bachelorette or a reverse harem with super powers. The protagonist expects everybody to divulge their secrets while she gets to keep her own. Also this protagonist is in heat throughout the series, not really for me.

boring

made it to chapter 11 before giving up. it's 99% internal dialog and overdone action sequences. maybe it gets better when the characters actually meet but it's just dragging on and on with little hope.

erotic novel in hiding

looked hard for stories that had a strong female lead being awesome. loved the first 4 hours of the story, wonderfully full of adventure, action packed, and a good story line that kept me interested. about half way into the story the focus changes and the character goes from super awesome to love struck school girl who can't stop thinking about being touched..

A story told by bat woman

If I had read this book things might be different. I might have grasped the sarcasm and the wit and the humor a bit more and made it enjoyable. Unfortunately I spent 90% of this book rolling my eyes. The reader literally sounds like a throaty, always serious, always on the edge of her seat for a life-and-death situation female version of Batman. When so many scenarios weren’t serious and were meant to be casual or romantic or any other emotion other than action, it took me entire experience away from me. I’ll be watching to make sure I don’t get this reader again.

Good balance of action, fantasy, mystery and sexy

Kick butt, strong heroine without being stupidly over the top. It's a reverse harem story so it definitely brings the sexy without being awkward or too focused on the sex/attraction. Incredibly slow at points but stick with it... it always gets better. Decent world building... not much background on how the dragons came to 'be' nor how the various organizations came to be. It vaguely sounds like the dragons came from somewhere else m and yet there was an ancient dragon gods 'pit' which would indicate they have always been in this world. Perhaps more will be covered later.
Great character growth (more over the course of the series than in this book specifically).

Long and dragged out

This story was long and dragged out and still didn't come to a good ending.
it was contrary .. one minute her group dont commit to one man they usually have
more than one of their choosing which leads you to believe she has been with several men in the past and then she's
blushing over seeing a naked man. This could have been a really good book it was just so much that
didn't jive. I am glad it was free.

Too many words/phrases repeated

I found this to be too repetitive. The author kept repeating herself over and over. It felt like I was back in high school and we had to submit an assignment with a specific number of words. And this writer was repeating herself to meet that min word count. I love the concept of the story.
