Publisher's Summary

No one screws with my family.

My sister and I are human orphans raised by the world’s best assassin, taught to steal and kill our way through the dragonlands under her watchful eye. Grown men fear us, and no one knows we’re coming until it’s too late to run.

Irena and I - we’re good. The best. In a dog-eat-dragon kind of world, we have to be. But someone betrayed us. Someone we trusted with our lives.

Irena is missing. My mentor is gone. And as for me...the man responsible for this mess thought he killed me. He kicked me into a pit, and he left me to die.

But I don’t give up that easy.

In the darkness, facing death itself, I fused with dragons. I had no choice. This is ancient magic, and dangerous people want it. They want me, dead or alive, and they’ll start a war if that’s what it takes to control me.

The magic I discovered - the magic these brutal people want - it’s mine, plain and simple. No one can take it from me. And I’m coming back from the dead.

For blood. For vengeance.

For Irena.

Reign of Dragons is a full-length novel with a badass heroine, a riveting storyline, and an alternative relationship dynamic. Get ready for a heart-pounding story filled with a dragon shifter romance unlike anything you’ve heard before.

Buckle in for heart-pounding action, breathtaking magic, deadly assassins, four drop-dead gorgeous leading men, lots of toned muscles, and most importantly - a young woman’s journey of justice, self-discovery, and freedom.

Decent, Love Interests are a bit much

The story isn't well thought out. She's supposed to be a trained mercenary but she doesn't take safety and betrayal seriously. Every single male she encounters romantically desperately wants her and by the 4th man - who by simply looking at her and barely talking to her are soooo in love - it gets tiring and annoying. Great concept but author got lazy any it shows.

Good balance of action, fantasy, mystery and sexy

Kick butt, strong heroine without being stupidly over the top. It's a reverse harem story so it definitely brings the sexy without being awkward or too focused on the sex/attraction. Incredibly slow at points but stick with it... it always gets better. Decent world building... not much background on how the dragons came to 'be' nor how the various organizations came to be. It vaguely sounds like the dragons came from somewhere else m and yet there was an ancient dragon gods 'pit' which would indicate they have always been in this world. Perhaps more will be covered later. Great character growth (more over the course of the series than in this book specifically).

Excellent Series!

Love, love, love this book. If you haven't listened just get the book. Erin Bennett is the perfect narrator. Can't wait for Audible to come up with the second book in this series ,so, I ordered it. Come on Audible get those books and please don't change the narrator. OK, so now, reading book two.

A story told by bat woman

If I had read this book things might be different. I might have grasped the sarcasm and the wit and the humor a bit more and made it enjoyable. Unfortunately I spent 90% of this book rolling my eyes. The reader literally sounds like a throaty, always serious, always on the edge of her seat for a life-and-death situation female version of Batman. When so many scenarios weren’t serious and were meant to be casual or romantic or any other emotion other than action, it took me entire experience away from me. I’ll be watching to make sure I don’t get this reader again.

Fourteen hour listen.

The narration was awesome. Fourteen hours is a long time for only one book though. The story sort of drug out in spots. There wasn't a lot of forward progression. We got to know some of the characters better than others. It would have been better in my opinion if we had viewpoints from the men too.

Okay story but annoying main character

There is too much time devoted to explaining pointless things and the thoughts of the main character. Some things are obvious and don’t need to be spelled out. Seriously annoying but storyline is good enough that I keep listening but I have to take breaks and listen to another book for a little while
