Publisher's Summary

Katie Singleton, a partner with the Elite Guardians Protection Agency, stumbles upon her next assignment quite by accident. Spotting blue lights at a familiar restaurant, she stops to investigate, only to discover that owner Daniel Matthews has become the target of someone who will go to any lengths to put him out of business.

Daniel might be concerned, but he's not convinced that a bodyguard - and a female one at that - is necessary. A new attack and his niece's urgings are enough to make him reconsider. He and Katie must figure out who's behind the intimidation and threats before a would-be killer strikes again.

Another great book by Eason

Spoiler alert*** I liked the story line and the characters. The narrator kept me engaged. However, the story did not give enough background on Sara and Martin's relationship. How did he convince her to get involved in criminal activities? Is Olivia and Wade's relationship going well?

Overall, it was a great book. Can't wait for book 3!

Another winner for Lynette Eason!

I love all of Lynette Eason's books. She is the queen of suspense. This book continues the storyline of the Elite Guardians, a group of all-female body guards. She keeps you guessing with her twists and turns. I highly recommend this book and the series and look forward to the next book!

Without Warning

This is a Christian romance. No sex at all, and only a couple of kisses. Plus the author sprinkles god & prayers throughout the story but if all references to deity were removed, it wouldn’t change the story at all. The whodunit part was ok, but the bodyguard part was kind of flimsy. The niece had 24 hour protection & the bad guy still got to her. 🙄 I’m sorry I wasted my time.

Wonderful

I really enjoyed Without Warning. It's about 4 women who open a bodyguard business. This one is about Katie, a former arson and bomb officer. Due to a death on the job of someone very close to her, she left the police force and became a bodyguard.
In this story Katie becomes the bodyguard of Daniel, a former Marine and now Restaurant owner. He has several restaurants that are being targeted by someone with bombs that has escalated to that someone trying to kill him.
It's a nice clean romance, very well written and thought out. The author also brings God and His grace into her writing through the characters.
A lovely book! I can't wait to read another one!!!

I enjoyed it overall. I would have liked the characters developed a little more. The performance was a little abnoxious at times in certain characters.

Exhilarating

A good story almost as fine as the 1st. I liked Riley the best as she seems the most vibrant & developed. Also fun.
