Heart-racing and lovely

This is my 2nd book by Lynette Eason, and I loved it just as much as the first. It is such a pleasure to read/hear crime novels, which I love, that are non compromising on the Word of God, and there is no profanity. Story kept me on the edge, and narrator was fantastic too. God bless you both!

Great story; painful narration

Would you try another book from Lynette Eason and/or Meredith Mitchell?

Definitely from Eason but never from Mitchell

Would you be willing to try another one of Meredith Mitchell’s performances?

Never. I have tried to listen to this book three times. I enjoy the story but her narration is so grating that I just can't make it through the book.

Such a shame that a different narrator didn't do this. I love this author but if this was my only exposure to her, I doubt I'd ever pick her books up again.

Good title.

This was a new author for me to buy. I was glad there was not the cussing in it that some other mysteries have. There was not a lot of new stuff in it, but the wife who had been lied against so many times reacted the way I would have. So many young people today do not have the character of the older generation. Honesty matters.

Really good

This is good, clean, no bad language suspense. The story was really good. It's the kind I can listen to going down the road and not feel sleepy.

fun listen

love the narrator. i will say at times hearing God over and over was a bit much, i am religious but it was a bit much to hear it over and over i mean. at times u have 2 be listening carefully to be sure u r following the story line to know whether past or present. but if u can do that u r good to go. ( :

it was ok dialogue a bit cheesy but overall it'll do. really good book for Christian romance.

Suspense, twists and turns

Lots of suspense and Chase scenes I got a little bored with It in the middle but it redeemed itself

Wow, just wow!

This book had me hooked from the first page and heart pounding throughout the rest of the book. If you like on the edge of you seat action, this book is for you. I now have a new favorite author!

I couldn't finish

The heroine was a stereotypical helpless female who fought her protector at every turn & questioned everything he asked her to do (even as they are being hunted by men who wanted to kill them) - I finally couldn't take it anymore & decided that she probably deserved to be left to her fate and put out of her misery.......the other characters I liked (at least as far into the story as I got)
