Beautiful love story!

Would you listen to Unspoken: Bathsheba again? Why?

Francine Rivers fills in the gaps of the Biblical story while stiring in an imaginative never told love story.

What did you like best about this story?

I appreciated the depths of honesty that Rivers expresses in the human flaw of not being able to forgive oneself.

What about Barbara Rosenblat’s performance did you like?

The narration was good.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Heart of Bathsheba

Wonderful! The only word I can think of

The only word I can think of to describe this narration. The Arthur masterfully takes you into the life of This amazing woman. It is with new eyes I see David and much more importantly device in which I see the Lord God Almighty. Thank you so much for making this a record book.

AWESOME NEW INSIGHT!!!

Even though I'd heard this story countless times, I have NEVER heard or even considered the perspective I got from this book! WOW!!! A classic Bible story now has become more profound and full of meaning and depth I didn't even know it possessed. Francine Rivers is truly gifted and has an amazing talent that clearly came directly from God!

Excellent

Well narrated and well written. Also very biblical. Of course there are several assumptions made, but overall it stays very true to the scripture.

She has a special gift of changing her voice from a woman to a man, never confusing.

Disappointed

Any additional comments?

I admit I didn't listen past chapter three. The story line goes to far off the biblical version and I found this disturbing. The author has Bathsheba lusting after David before and while she is married to Uriah. I believe she loved Uriah very much and it must have been very difficult being married to the man who had her husband killed (if indeed she was aware). I was left very disappointed as the character pined for David from a very young age. Yuck!
