Beautiful story. Much to ponder......

Beautiful story that will touch the hearts of many who share Elianna's struggles with self - worth, feelings of guilt and unreturned love from a parent or just plain rejection.
although one feels at times that the course of her life is unrealistically cruel, it is completely possible for some to suffer so much heartache. The lessons hidden in thus book, however leaves one thinking and pondering long after the book is finished.

Although I could predict what would happen next, every step of the way was interstitial g and enjoyable.

Amazing! This book kept me engaged the whole time.

I hurt and loved with her. I wanted healing and understanding with her. It was easy to see out of her eyes. What an amazing journey.

Excellent voice, excellent story.

Just what I was looking for... a clean, engaging story that kept me entertained and emotionally involved. With the added bonus of some biblical principles and historically accurate pieces thrown in to make it seem familiar. I really enjoyed this narrator's voice as well. She was an excellent choice! I'll be reading more from this author for sure!
