Number 1, as a Christian, this book made me smile a lot because it explained things like the author was there seeing through Lazarus' eyes. This book made me go back to read the gospel, to connect the dots, and indeed, the Thoenes surprised me with all that information.

Intriguing Storytelling

Loved every minute of the story written outside the normal range of New Testament thought that provided a rich, insightfully different perspective on the story of Lazarus and Christ. Beautiful to hear during the season of Christmas.

When Jesus Wept

Loved the entire book! It was more than a great rest- it was an experience. The narrator was awesome. Seeing Lazarus in this light changed my entire perspective about him and his sisters. Lazarus' transition and his summons to return blessed me beyond more than I could ever express. This book would make a great movie😍
