Slow moving

Would you listen to The Hope Within again? Why?

Although the book started off slowly, I enjoyed it. The book held my interest til the end. All the characters were real as well as their experiences. I would recommend this book if one enjoys reading about the pioneer way of life and likes Christian fiction.

no hope

I had a really hard time with the narrator's voice and the way it was read. I might have enjoyed it more if the book was read by someone else.

The performance is terrible

The book is great but the reader is bad. She is very wooden and unnatural sounding.

Love and Adventure in the Settling of Montana

This book was a great conclusion to the Heirs of Montana series. Tracie Peterson never disappoints and this book focuses on a family who settles in Montana and works to build their ranch and establish their family. The dangers and joys of establishing this untamed territory gives the reader a glimpse of life during this period of history. This is a great read for anyone who enjoys Christian historical fiction.

Great story. Dreadful narrator.

True to form, Tracy Peterson always delivers a story I find difficult to put down. Having heard this narrator on past books, this one finally was too much. Her wet sounds and smacking make my stomach clench. As long as she is reading this "reader" won't be listening.

Disapointed

Would you try another book from Tracie Peterson and/or Ruth Ann Phimister?

Maybe, if it not a series

What could Tracie Peterson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Eliminate all the morbidity, it was very depressing.. I felt I needed a lift after reading this series.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Ruth Ann Phimister?

Possibly

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No!!!

Any additional comments?

I like to feel uplifted after reading a story. I really felt sad after reading the whole series., I kept waiting for something good to happen.
