I really really loved this I enjoyed it a great deal ,I closed my eyes and felt the sun on my back and the dust in my eye's and was quite happy to be taken along the plains of America ,with our two heroins and their historical band of characters you will come across in this charming tale.Good humor and good drama the only grip I have is there isn't more of this type of book to choose from.(hint hint)

Extremely disappointing

Would you try another book from Sugar Lee Ryder and J. D. Cutler and/or Secunda Wood?

I would not purchase another book from these authors. I would think twice before buying a book that was narrated by the narrator of this book, although, I might give it a try to see if the narrator was hampered by the lack of good material.

What was most disappointing about Sugar Lee Ryder and J. D. Cutler ’s story?

Within the first few chapters, it is abundantly clear that this story could never have occurred. The language used is language of today and not that of the 1870s. The historical figures were unrealistic and I have to wonder what research the authors may actually have done.

What didn’t you like about Secunda Wood’s performance?

The fact that on occasion the voice for the different characters were mixed up. Again, though, perhaps a better job could have been done if the content of the story had been better.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Sagebrush & Lace?

All of the ones with references to historical figures.

If you could sum up Sagebrush & Lace in three words, what would they be?

Funny ,loveable , dusty

Who was your favorite character and why?

Shar

What does Secunda Wood bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

She gives all the character's a voice and a personality ,that's why audio books work so well you still have the image in your head , sound only enhances this experience.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes I couldn't put it down I usually only listen to the books at night before I go to sleep but I couldn't get enough of this one ,

Any additional comments?

This lovable pair stole my heart as much as they stole each others ,this historical adventure was a joy to hear ,I swear I felt the dust on my face and the sun on my back.
