This is my first Meesha Mink book.. Not the Last

First of all, I do wanna say Meesha picked the perfect person to narrate this book.. Hand’s Down Honey Jones did her thing like always. Now, this is the first book ever had me laughing from the beginning to the end.. This was an authentic African-American Hood Story.. If you don’t know anything about the hood or you don’t like hood story, this book isn’t for you. I loved it!! You can visualize the whole story.. Two Thumbs Up fa you Meesha!!

Nice read

I glad that I ran into this book. It’s a very good read, but, it did drag a little in the middle. All in all the end closed it perfectly.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Goldie was my favorite character. She had a lot of values, self-esteem, and was honest with herself.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Goldie took charge and finally decided that she would no longer be involved with her older man after he disowned her when his wife found out about their relationship.

If you could take any character from Real Wifeys out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Goldie, because she was real and fun and even though she chose to make her money the way she did, Lord knows that she tried to be a good person with values.

I highly recommend this book. It is well written and the narrator brought so much life and compassion, and laughter to the main character's struggles and triumphs.

I didn't have to wait long before the story captured my attention. It was good starting from the first few minutes.... . I'm going to love the audible book. This was my first time listening from this author.

IT WAS OK.

A REAL HOOD STORY THAT YOUNG WOMEN EXPERIENCE EVERYDAY IN THERE LIVES LOVE THE NARRATER SHE MADE IT INTERESTING 2 LISTEN.

I would definitely recommend this title to a friend....The author was exceptional in writing this lovely book and the narrator was just awesome....She brought life to the book...I could relate to this title....its what's happening everyday....

I loved Goldie.......she was independent and her self-esteem was high, she did not care what anyone has to say about her..

Yes it was......it makes me want more!!!!

I really enjoyed this story. Honey Jones was on point as usual. Goldie went through a lot but she became a boss.

All Over The Place

A Really Had To Force Myself Thru It. At times the book was all over the place. Started off good but could’ve been better.

Decent...

I'll be honest and say that I can't relate to most of the storyline so it was well written and the narration was good. I didn't care much for Goldie. She was a shallow user and made poor decisions throughout. I'm also disappointed in how she handled the Tip assault. It was no real issue for her until she was assaulted. And she kept half of the 10k! I don't like how she handled the wife of her lover but it was realistic. I'll blame all of this on age...
