Publisher's summary

Cold-hearted Keema takes the world by storm as she navigates her way through every trick and scam she can pull off. With four kids in tow, living off the welfare system had become her life along with the extra cash, sex, and violence her gangsta boyfriend Dupree brought into her life.

Soon, chaos erupts, causing Keema’s secret past to become a problem. When the chips fall, they fall hard, leaving Keema willing to do whatever it takes to keep money in her pocket. She’s willing to go that extra mile, even if it means selling her kids or setting up her man.

Cliffhanger… part of a series

This has all the makings of a great read. But I have to read the envy book in the series to be sure.

Awesome read!

The storyline was awesome! I wished the narrator read a little more enthusiastically, it was a little monotone. Overall, still a great read!

Whew child…Keema Keema Keema

Baby when I tell you I couldn’t stop listening. This narrator is without one of the BEST I’ve heard on audible. The story, the characters… all of it was on point. Contemplating if I wanna go ahead and purchase a credit for part 2 😩😩 I have to cause Keema is the Queen Of Hoodrats and I have to know what happens next😝

Ok maybe I shouldn’t like it but I do

Sometimes You need a little welfare grind to take you away from all the romance, thrillers/mystery horror that you read. The lead in the story was an absolute horror show as a mother, as a daughter, as a friend, and as a girlfriend. She was so absolutely clueless and unaware that she was so much fun to read. The story ends on a cliffhanger, so that’s not my favorite. I like a story to end and then you could just start a whole new book and pick up where you left off but I’m gonna look for part two and some more books by this author

One of the Best Audible books ever read!

The story was modern and by the second chapter I could envision everything going on and the characters. The storyline became somewhat familiar as it reminded me of the movie "All In." However, this was more detailed. This was the quickest I've ever listened to a story. The story was narrated so well that my husband sat and listened to it after dinner. Then early in the morning instead of listening to the news, in the car rides to work, on the car rides from work, any time we got a chance to listen, we did. It kept us at the edge of our seats. Just when we thought we knew what was going to happen next, we didn't. We're definitely waiting for part 2!
