Publisher's Summary

Tell Sackett was packing 30 pounds of gold and no worries, until he got to the ferry at the Colorado. Trouble found him there. It looked like a black-eyed woman, pretty as a young filly and a hundred times more set to buck any man. It looked like a gang of hardcases with ideas about other folks' gold. And trouble looked like the other side of the river, the hottest, driest, most brutal desert on the continent.
Don't miss other titles in The Sacketts series.

😀😀😀😀

This book was the best of all the Sackett books I have ever listen to Best Western book for that matter this is a great book for people who are just getting into Westerners and I can't do nothing but recommend the whole second series but after listening to this one man a life this is a good book

pauses between chapters

there are quite a few times that the story is mis-edited where a chapter will end and there will be a pause with time left and no reading that just needs cut out. made me pull my book back up to see if it somehow got paused or if the app froze but it was just blank spots in the reading

a really great book

The only bad thing about this book is that it didn't last forever. I really enjoyed it.

I'm s hugh Louis L'Amour fan. But....

Would you try another book from Louis L'Amour and/or David Strathairn?

I love most of his books and David S as the narrator.

Would you recommend Mojave Crossing to your friends? Why or why not?

Not sure, too many other good books by this author.

What about David Strathairn’s performance did you like?

Really like D Strathairn as a narrator.
