Please note: This audiobook contains graphic adult content

Romantic, liberating and totally addictive, the Fifty Shades trilogy will obsess you, possess you and stay with you forever.

When Ana Steele first encountered the driven, damaged entrepreneur Christian Grey, it sparked a sensual affair that changed both their lives irrevocably. Ana always knew that loving her Fifty Shades would not be easy, and being together poses challenges neither of them had anticipated. Ana must learn to share Grey's opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own integrity or independence; and Grey must overcome his compulsion to control and lay to rest the horrors that still haunt him.

Now, finally together, they have love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of infinite possibilities. But just when it seems that they really do have it all, tragedy and fate combine to make Ana's worst nightmares come true....

I love 50 being in love

I came to realise by the end of the third book, that this trilogy is all about the love story. The kinky sex is interesting but in the end its all about a desperate, all consuming love that many many people never experience. The kind of love where despite the hardships, a couple really do adore each other and ..........yes....... it does happen. Its also about the female need to save a handsome and esentially good but very damaged man from himself, and see that love does win over in the end. Yes the books are repetivive but to be honest who cares. It was all about heart and I loved them:) Becca Battoe has done a nice job of the reading.

Not for the prudish!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would recommend this book as a light hearted read on a romantic or relaxing holiday.
Raunchy novel that concludes the trilogy, but you need to finish all three books or the first two books are empty and you are left hanging. I feel the three books would be much better condensed into one book - with less repetitive sex scenes. The sex scenes are very explicit and can make you blush initially, but by the end of the first book they become annoying to listen to and were a little "same old same old". Anna and Christian seemed oversexed and I was tempted to skip past the sex scenes to get to the main story line which was vague until the very end. This book is not for a child's ears.
Repetitive use of certain vocabulary and adjectives and some words get annoying by the end of the three books.
The narrators voice of main character "Anna" took a little getting used to, however it grew on you by the end of the trilogy.

Would you recommend Fifty Shades Freed to your friends? Why or why not?

If you start the trilogy you need to finish all tree books to get the benefit of the plot. The books are great for stimulating challenging conversation with close friends or lovers or for stimulating self reflection on our sexual inhibitions and boundaries.

Have you listened to any of Becca Battoe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This trilogy was the first listen to Becca Battoe's performances.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Initially I was a little shocked about the sexual explicitness, especially in regard to the dominatrix sex scenes.

Read in print but still got it in audible, LOVE IT

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Freed again? Why?

Yes i would and actually have, firstly I absolutely loved the book, and secondly i find it so relaxing sitting listening to it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Christian Grey is my favourite character.
why because right from the start you feel for him as you know he is very troubled and you just wish you could do something to help him.

Have you listened to any of Becca Battoe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

no this is my first time

If you could take any character from Fifty Shades Freed out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Christian Grey, because of the empathy you feel for him, and i would be the envy of every woman who has read the book.

Any additional comments?

i would really like to read a book from his point of view now, just to explain how he felt about it all.

Kinky sex with a great story

Loved this series. Quite erotic at times so not for the prude but a real love story.
You will like this if you loved the JD Robb in death books.

Predictable, irritating

What would have made Fifty Shades Freed better?

If it was ONE book instead of drawn out to three

Has Fifty Shades Freed turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

What three words best describe Becca Battoe’s performance?

Understandable, and good inflections

Any additional comments?

This set of books to me, was whiny and monotonous and not very well written. Could have put everything in to one book instead of stretching it out and making it boring. This set of books ticked me off more than inspired me. By the third book you just knew how the characters were going to react and what they were going to say. AND I found myself saying "NOT fair" a lot and rolling my eyes. I don't think I would recommend this book to anyone.

The hype sold this series - 100% for marketing

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Narrator had a very irritating whiny voice especially when trying to "change" characters

What could E. L. James have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Condese the 3 books into 1 book I was often bored and impatient with the "perfection" of Christian Grey.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Becca Battoe?

Someone with a less specific accent? I loved Davina Porter in the Outlander series

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It certainly made me question my idea of what is acceptable sex between committed couples who are open and honest with each other. It also reminded me of how dangerously overwhelming sexual attraction can be, especially for the 18 - 25 age group.

Any additional comments?

Take away all the kinkery sex and it was just a feel good Mills and Boon story marketed by a brilliant publisher! I loved the covers of the books

I really enjoyed the Fifty Shades trilogy. I know the writing isn't the best but I found the story entertaining and even found myself a little disappointed when it finished. Becca does a fantastic job narrating too.

The Real story

It a real shame that the writer had to pull some much importance on the sex because the story itself is Avery good story. It show the a women who loves someone unconditionally. Can change someone's life as Anna did for Christen . And a true love is unconditionally. :))
