Romantic, liberating and totally addictive, the Fifty Shades trilogy will obsess you, possess you and stay with you forever.

When Ana Steele first encountered the driven, damaged entrepreneur Christian Grey, it sparked a sensual affair that changed both their lives irrevocably. Ana always knew that loving her Fifty Shades would not be easy, and being together poses challenges neither of them had anticipated. Ana must learn to share Grey's opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own integrity or independence; and Grey must overcome his compulsion to control and lay to rest the horrors that still haunt him.

Now, finally together, they have love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of infinite possibilities. But just when it seems that they really do have it all, tragedy and fate combine to make Ana's worst nightmares come true....

Oh Christian!

What made the experience of listening to Fifty Shades Freed the most enjoyable?

Knowing that Ana was able to bring her '50 Shades' into the light. I had been told that I would need to read all three books to fully understand the story of Ana and Christian and even though it was hard going sometimes I was really pleased that I persisted and read to the end.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades Freed?

I really enjoyed the last two chapters when we heard Christians first impressions of Ana - she had him from the start. He was so arrogant - but with this coming at the end of the book it was great to know just how Christian ticked.

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have also read the book and I think Becca was able to give the characters more definition.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Strangely enough it was the third last chapter when four year old Christian speaks (in his mind) about what life with his new family means to him. Unfortunately this is fiction imitating life. I felt so sad for this little boy who had endured so much.

Love, Love, Love this trilogy.

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Freed again? Why?

I've listened to this trilogy many times and get something new out of it every time.

What did you like best about this story?

The love was uppermost in Christian and Ana then the great sex came second.

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She bought the characters alive.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

A love story with "more".

Any additional comments?

Can't wait for the film. Just hope that the film makers keep it true to the books.

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Freed again? Why?

What could E. L. James have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I was keen to continue the story but it started to be repetitive

Did Becca Battoe do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

yes

Enjoyable, however not fabulous

I did enjoy this, the third book of the series . However I found the story a little predictable
& the ending was not satisfying at all. The author seemed to wind up the story out of the blue & left me with many questions. I felt as though there should have been one more book to Finnish the story properly.

Fifty Shades Freed

After book two I really didn't know where this story could go and I have to say I really didn't expect where this book took me. However once again the interaction between Christian and Anastasia was excellent. The kidnapping scene was resolved a little easily for me however once again an excellent read.

Again Becca Battoe handled the performance very well and made it easy to listen too.

Overall and excellent series of books that I will continue to enjoy listening too in the years to come.

Such a lot of hype

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Definitely, I would cut a third of the sex out and condense the series into one book with a reasonable story line.

Would you be willing to try another book from E. L. James? Why or why not?

Not for a long time. Too much drawn out sex in the middle of the story just getting going. Repetitive language. I found myself fast forwarding past the sex to get back to the story.

What three words best describe Becca Battoe’s performance?

Not too bad.

Was Fifty Shades Freed worth the listening time?

Yes and no. I enjoyed the book but became frustrated with Anastasia's language and her "Inner Goddess"

Any additional comments?

Just how naive can a woman be? Miss Steele and Mr Grey? Come on. A college student who is absolutely stunning and still a virgin??? Was this set in the wrong era??? A virgin who has rough initial sex then repeats it the next morning??? Unbelievable.

oh 50 of 50

Would you consider the audio edition of Fifty Shades Freed to be better than the print version?

Much better than having to read it

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades Freed?

there was never a moment I wanted to turn it of

What about Becca Battoe’s performance did you like?

she is so easy to listen to

If you could rename Fifty Shades Freed, what would you call it?

it is good the way it is ...nothing to change

Any additional comments?

I am on the last of it.....I will be sad when it finishes..... Hope there is more to come

The Fifty shades Triology

If one was expecting Shakespeare then these are not the books. EL James wrote these books like real life. There are practices that are covered that even with a trusted partner are difficult to talk about with anyone else. There is a lifestyle that most women wish for that is coverd. I fell in love with the Gray family especially Christian. I loved how Anna was able to bring out the loving side of him. I have read the books over and have found it liberating.

Great story crucified by awful narration.

I find the 50 shades trilogy very compelling but Ms Battoe's interpretation of Christian Grey's voice was toe curlingly bad. I listen to 25 audible books a year and this was the worst narration I've heard. I hope one day the trilogy will be narrated by a full cast but a cast that is extremely well chosen and fully tested for customer feedback first.

Well...E.L.James tries too hard

It's not boring. The vocabulary is a little much, i don't get her (Anastasia) inner goddess and i don't get why she's trying to be British. The smut is sub-par. 14 year olds have written better. A book can be simply written, have an interesting story line without all these weird plot twists that made me roll my eyes. I just like the fact that she was pregnant tbh, kept the story from being a drag.

I love how the author has addressed power, wealth and control in one bundle. I enjoyed prelude that compares the early fifty to the one we have grown to know. Totally recommended and await their next journey as exhausting as it would be to love him!
