Publisher's Summary

In Tim LaHaye—creator and co-author of the world-renowned Left Behind series—and Craig Parshall’s Edge of Apocalypse unabridged audio download, Joshua Jordan’s new weapons defense system will secure America against an array of new enemies, including a nuclear strike on New York City by North Korea. But global forces are mounting and corrupt government leaders will go to any extreme to prevent an impending economic catastrophe. As world events begin setting the stage for the “end of days” foretold in Revelation, Jordan must weigh the personal price he must pay to save the nation he loves.

Becoming Reality

Would you listen to Edge of Apocalypse again? Why?

Just listened to this book for the second time. In the tradition of Joel Rossenburg, some of the actions and political scenarios that seemed fiction in the first read are now becoming reality.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the edgey tension mixed with the story of redemption.

Which scene was your favorite?

The lamb in the thicket moment.

If you could take any character from Edge of Apocalypse out to dinner, who would it be and why?

The Patriot because he is giving his all for our country.

Any additional comments?

I can't wait to read Thunder From Heaven but know I will need to read it again in a year to see how much of the fiction becomes reality.

Edge of Your Seat

Another in LaHaye's long list of end times novels. This one has interesting characters and keeps you wondering what's next. It's the same story, different setting and I keep coming back for more.

Truly an amazing listen!

Ok so this book will not be for all.
It has a strong Christian message. It is never preachy instead it is all action all of the time.
The main protagonists are brilliant characters. One a reborn Christian and her spouse, a believer but with certain judgements.

These protagonist has an amazing report with one another. This makes the reader connecting to the story line as they grow to love the couple.
The theme is clear. Beware!

The world building is quite believable and the narrative form makes this a seamless and amazingly entertaining story.

I loved it and cant wait to get into the next

I thought this was a very well done novel with great suspense and intrigue. It sends a solid Christian message yet keeps you in anticipation for what is to happen next. I understand the authors design of the "All Phone" as a futuristic reality of were cell phones like the iPhone and Droid are heading. I am looking forward to the next book.

Oh such a boring book!

Wow with such promise to be a great book, Nuclear threat from North Korea etc. Just turns out to be another thinly veiled attempt to push a LOT of born again christian rhetoric down your throat. That mixed with a storyline that never really took off or went anywhere.

If Audible offered a button I could click to get my credit/money back I would be pressing it like mad.
