Cloak of the Light

Started out slow, but got better. Almost gave up on it, but it finished well.

Great story, enjoyable performance

listened as a family (mom and teens) with breakfast. we agreed to 1 chapter a day and that was sooo hard to keep to! we all enjoyed it so much its killing us to have to wait the 5 days for our next credit/next book in the series! Definitely not an all ages book, but i think it would be appropriate for tweens and up. didn't notice that there is a male and female performer until a female voice came in- sounded familiar and my daughter was sure it was Connie from Adventures in Odyssey, the rest of us weren't so sure, then I looked at performers and sure enough, it's 'connie'! different than Chuck Black's other books, but no less enjoyable, just different. all around an enjoyable listen!

There not aliens they’re angels!!!

Chuck Black is an amazing author. I love how he puts Christian details into his books. cloak of the light is so interesting because Carter doesn’t realize that he’s actually seeing angels and demons not aliens

good vs bad easily applied to real life

Football star turned into warrior; not my idea of great hero since I am a geek and having little interest in sports but still I can apply the insights into my own life. The battle scenes are well explained and interesting.

Cliff Hanger

Great Christian Fantasy! Massive cliffhanger though! I would have loved for a few more things to have been wrapped up.
