Cant get past chapter 1, due to the narrater!!

What would have made At the Mountains of Madness better?

I have to wonder if the print Mike Vendetti was reading when this was recorded had any punctuation, because it sounds like he is guessing his way through it!!!I <br/>I am a fan of Audible.com & have at least 10+ books in my library, so I do have a certain level of comprehension. But after listening through almost the entire 1st chapter of this book, I have absolutely no idea what has happened so far!!! It's due to how the narrater drones on & chops apart sentences like there are commas & periods in strange places!!!

How could the performance have been better?

by me purchasing a version with a different narrater!!!
