Another fantastic production from Dark Adventure!!

This is the third production the HPL Historical Society made in 2008 and it is as good as all those before it. This has always been one of my favorite Lovecraft stories and there have been several dramatizations of it, but this is the best by far. Loved the ending!!!

Great Stuff

This dramatization mostly follows the original story. It has a story telling frame not in the original. The HPLHS has produced another fine presentation. This is both entertaining and an interpretation of Lovecraft 's work.

A Very Creepy Town with Terrifying Secrets

This was another fabulous episode of the Dark Adventure Radio Theater. A young man learns the horrors of a town, not believing the warnings and stories he’s been told. Fantastic cast and excellent production. If you enjoyed this, be sure to pick up more episodes to delight and entertain you.

Good while commuting on bus

You need adequate concentration. Thus listening to the audiobook while commuting on bus is far better compared to while working, driving by yourself or walking.

Have you got the Innsmouth look?

My first foray into DART and it was fantastic. Great story and very suspenseful. The voice acting was excellent and bought the story to life.

Terror rises from the Deep!

Best part of the work: Suspense. The dramatization medium favored by the HP Lovecraft historical society lends itself well to making the lengthy exposition of Lovecraft more suspenseful. Plus, this is a classic tale in just about every way. Least favorite part of the work? Lovecraft has only one type of protagonist: White Anglo Saxon Protestant Male Academic. That gets boring after a while. Narrator: HPLHS make great productions whatever they do. They draw you into the cosmic horror with real enthusiasm.
