Publisher's summary

From the moment he lays eyes on the Sinners' new soundboard operator, drummer Eric Sticks knows he has to make Rebekah his. Unfortunately, she's too busy trying to seduce guitarist Trey Mills to pay him much attention. Rebekah never planned to fall for the tall, goofy drummer with the weird sense of humor and a heart the size of the galaxy.

But Eric makes her laugh and his constant attention makes her feel sexy and irresistible - exactly what she needs after the things her last lover said to her. A woman who gives as much as she takes, Rebekah makes Eric feel like a total stud - exactly what he needs after surviving a decade of watching the incredibly talented members of the Sinners from the wings.

Best one yet!

I love this book. Eric was the annoying one in the earlier stories, but now that you see where he has come from and a look into his mind you fall right in love with him. I love the Sinners and can't wait for more books on them.

Loved it! Made me exercise more!

I have loved all the books in this series! I listen to them while walking, and ONLY when walking. That has helped me up my speed and distance! LOL

Eric & Rebekah are so cute together! Eric's childhood is a shame, and Rebekah has hard her tough times too. But this book celebrated life and was so light and full of hope! I LOVE Eric, someone with his sorry childhood could have been mean or depressed, but he chose to go for goofy & fun loving. Rebekah seems like his perfect match. So happy for their HEA.

As with all the other book in this series, I loved the interaction between the guys in the band and their significant others.

I'm so glad I waited for this book to be available on audio so I could listen to this series in the author's original order. Now I have have Trey's book to look forward to, then I'm gonna miss this series!

Just love Eric

Would you listen to Wicked Beat again? Why?

Yes, many times, it has everything. Good jokes and hot sex, just love this book.

What did you like best about this story?

How completely charmed Eric gets and how his friends help on the road with the obvious ...

What about Justine O. Keef’s performance did you like?

Seems that she reads well but is easier to hear the difference in boys than girls.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Many laugh

Fun Listen

I went into this book with trepidation. I really enjoyed the other 4 books but have seen some mixed reviews for this book. While this is not my favorite in the series it was enjoyable. Part of me wishes there was more story and less sex but after reflection I felt this probably was the right approach for Eric's story. I laughed often throughout the book and wanted to physically hurt Reb's mother when she talked to Eric but overall it was awesome to see Eric get his turn at love. Justine was the perfect narrator; as was with the previous 4 books.

My only frustration is in Sed's & Eric's stories there were details that seemed out of order; that Eric's story should have come before Sed's but some details in Eric's story included Jessica so maybe it was correct that Sed's book was first.

I am definitely glad that I purchased this book to complete the series and would recommend the series to my friends.

Funny & Sexual

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Oh yes. This series is great, but this book is the best so far. It was so funny in so many parts I laughed out loud, you know what it like when you're sitting at your desk at work with your ear phones in and you start laughing out loud? People look at you funny but it was so worth it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wicked Beat?

There are so many parts that are great, it's hard to pick just one.

Which character – as performed by Justine O. Keef – was your favorite?

My favorite character is Eric....He is so silly and naive. Between him and Reb I laughed so hard.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed through most of it....

Any additional comments?

It is worth the credit....It is worth paying the $$ for it. It is best if you listen to the first 3 books first but this can stand on it's own.

Now I really love ERIC !! Great couple!

Loved this story and their connection. Some scenes are kind of weird for me. And I really would have liked to read these in order....read 5 before 4....makes sense now.
Love these Rockers !!

Good Beat

I love this series Eric Sticks was not my favorite member of Sinners in the other books I felt that he played too much and I didn't like him picking on Jace with that being said I loved this book. Eric was just what Rebekah Blake needed although I did feel at times she was too needy. Reb took over for her brother Dave after he was injured in the bus crash in the last book she has just went into remission for uterine cancer and her gay boyfriend broke up with her because she didn't feel right having sex so he made her think it was her fault. Eric Sticks as never been loved all his exes used him his mother left him when he was four and no one wanted to adopt him. Eric also has a lot of insecurities, which was something I never saw coming. This made him so endearing to me. I am beyond thrilled that he finally found his perfect match in Rebekah. Rebekah saw Eric for who he was: funny, sexy, and amazing. She not only accepted his goofy nature, complete lack of verbal filter, and constant honesty, she embraced it. Rebekah and Eric complemented each other in every way. And their playfulness, it was so cute. Eric and Reb had a few things to overcome like all the other couples her job is the first one the other sound broad operator doesn't want her their so he tries to sabotage her work. Her mother who is crazy doesn't want her with Eric and she takes a break from reality because she wants her to be with her ex Isaac who Trey knew was gay and decided to help Eric out by sleeping with him. I did feel bad for him because his father disowned him and Trey broke his heart. I must say this book was very funny and sexy they had a lot of sex and Reb did help Eric with his problem of being too sensitive personally I would have been pissed about the 1 minute man routine.

Eric and Rebecca story

Olivia's book is great. Between Olivia's writing and Justine's voice inflections I got lost in the characters.
This whole series is this way. I love it
