With her 30th birthday looming, Emma Harrison finds her biological clock clanging and the elusive knight in shining armor yet to appear. After Aidan learns of Emma's predicament, he is quick to offer a proposition that will benefit them both. He will father Emma's child, but she must conceive it with him naturally. Not one for hook-ups or casual sex, Emma is reluctant to take him up on his offer, but his charm, coupled with her intense desire for motherhood, wins out.

Soon their baby-making sessions become more than just physical. Aidan can't seem to walk away from her while Emma begins to wonder if Aidan could be the one. But can Aidan leave his past behind to become the man Emma needs him to be?

Ok, not great. Didn't finish.

Honestly, I listened to most of it, waiting for it to get better. I didn't finish it, though. The plot idea was a fun one, it just didn't flesh out to be interesting enough for me. The narration was fine, but not enough emotion behind it.

Unfinished

I didn’t like the ending as you didn’t get to hear him gravel. I enjoyed it up until that part. I enjoyed the Near raider except for the squeal when the woman gets excited. I’ve heard her before in other box and I never like the way she squeals.

Really liked the book, but hated the audio version

I like the story, but found the narrator's voices annoying to the point that I fast forwarded through scenes where she did her best friends voice and any non-Aiden scenes.

i really don't have a favorite female narrator, though I can say for sure I'm not a fan of Justine O. Keef.

Could you see The Proposition being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

ummmm, maybe a lifetime movie with Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott. LOL

Yes a great listen

Omgoodness such an amazing book I need to get the next installment I wish it didn’t end on a cliff. Performance is amazing and story is very well written.

What happened to the end?????

Liked this book until the abrupt ending. Seriously, I read romance for a happily ever after ending, not a cliffhanger. Leave that to the suspense novels. Lots of relationship detail, until the abrupt ending. Would have taken much to give this an end instead of a “what just happened, that’s it?!” I thought I’d found a new author but doubt I’ll pick up another by this one. Bummer.
