I enjoy all kinds of erotica, this was way edgy
Would you try another book from Tristan Taormino and/or Lily Bask?
I've listened to many books from Tristan Taormino and I really enjoyed them Lily Bask I never heard before but she did a good job of narrating . My problem was that these stories were all very edgy and pushed all the relationships over the edge. I don't mind a mix of this but all the stories were very hard edged, and over the top.
Has When She Was Good turned you off from other books in this genre?
No I just like a better mix of stories in an anthology, all these stories were about lesbians doing things that most people wouldn't do in any relationship, whether it be gay, lesbian or straight. All the stories pushed the envelope and I just couldn't enjoy that many stories in a row of that nature4. I'm not saying they were horrible, just too much in one anthology.
What aspect of Lily Bask’s performance would you have changed?
She did a good job with the stories she had to read. It was just too much of subs, and doms and control issues. If you're reading one story about this it's one thing but 22 short stories in an anthology about lesbian erotica should have been a better mix. (just my opinion) I have several anthologies by Tristan Taormino and have enjoyed them. If you enjoy listening to so many sad situations in every story then this is what you may enjoy. It was a bit depressing after a while
Did When She Was Good inspire you to do anything?
Yes, listen to something more positive and upbeat.

When an anthology is put together even if it's supposed to be pushing the envelope, I feel there should have been a mix with upbeat stories as well, that could have made this a better collection. This is the first book by Tristan Tormino I have to return. I know I can't listen to this again.

interesting
there are a few stories that should have trigger warnings they were kind of "rapey" to me. Also a few butch femme stories that were good. it's a mix of pronouns and sexual exploring.

My ears are killing me
I was unable to even get into the stories because of the narrator's nasally voice. I tried to speed up and slow it down...neither mattered. It's a shame since I do like this author.

So bad
This was horrible. Don’t waste your credit or cash not even worth free credit.
Narrator sounded like a two pack a day smoker. Disappointing.
